AN: This one hit me while watching the vid for Sabaton's Ghost Division song.
"What I need," Sally Thomas told her builder as they stood in the front hallway of her house, "is a cat-flap for my little Tiddles here."
Her builder, a tall imposing man with a very generic military face, didn't move a muscle.
"Of course, I'd like it done as quickly as possible as well. No shoddy work please, I don't want to ruin the street scenery," she added and her builder smiled at her. As far as streets went, this one was relatively peaceful. Very few scorch marks or signs of fighting at all.
"Not to worry ma'am, it will be done before you know it," he said and he pointed his NGL-8 Nanotech grenade launcher at the bottom of the door and squeezed the trigger. The resulting explosion destroyed the bottom half of the door and left scorch marks on the wall. Even the front windows on the ground floor were blown. He looked down at Sally, who was smiling. "Is there anything else I can do for you?" he asked and she clapped her hands together happily.
"No, no, that will be all. Nice work!" she told him and he smiled. Another happy customer.
