So I just read a really cool dialogue-only story, which gave me this idea: Naitlyn's conversation on the phone while Nate's away on tour. Enjoy!

"Hello?"

"Hey, Cait!"

"Oh, hey, it's you."

"You don't sound too excited."

"I'm just tired, that's all. So what's up?"

"What, I can't call my girlfriend without having a reason?"

"I meant, what's up, like what are you up to, that kind of thing, Nate."

"Oh."

"Yes. So, what's up?"

"Not much. On the bus on our way to the venue."

"Where are you playing tonight?"

"You know, I don't even know."

"Tour mode, huh?"

"Exactly. So how's school, Cait?"

"Boring. I failed my math test yesterday."

"How could you fail your test?!"

"Because I suck at math?"

"But it's so easy!"

"Says Mr. Math Genius!"

"Point taken."

"Besides, you know you'd never do as well as I would in an English test."

"You're right, Caitlyn."

"And I'm also better at Spanish!"

"You are."

"Also, I run way faster than you do."

"Cait, I'm agreeing with – whoa, what?"

"You heard me, I'm faster."

"No, you're not."

"Yeah, I am."

"You're not."

"I am, too."

"Are not."

"Am, too."

"Are not."

"Am, too."

"Are not."

"Am, too – one sec, the doorbell just rang."

"I'll be here."

"Wha – Nate? What are you doing here?"

"Cait, you can hang up the phone now."

"Oh my God, Nate, you're here!"

"Yes, I am."

"Oh my God, I missed you!"

"I missed you, too, Cait."

"Oh, I forgot to hang up the phone."

So I know it's innovative, and might not make sense at times, but what do you think?
