A Titan of his size should have nothing to do with something- no, someone- so... different. It was true that Shishio never associated with any of his kind and was more of an outcast than anything, but the relationship he had found himself in was more than bizarre by Titan and Fairy standards.

It was morally corrupt to fall in love with anything but a Titan, and yet, living in Shishio's previously vacant eyesocket was a teeny, tiny Fairy.

Netaro Yasumi, not even an adult Fairy yet. Everywhere he traveled, a glittering dust was left, which had been what caught Shishio's eye in the first place. When he wrenched a tree out of the ground for simply getting in his way, he hadn't cared for any of the life held within it- but Netaro fluttered out of the foliage and the glittering dust that fell behind him intrigued Shishio.

Really, he wasn't sure what he was expecting when he put his finger out to Netaro as if he were just a pretty bird to fawn at. The Fairy landed on the extended digit, marched up his arm, and shouted profanities the whole while. It was funny, and he found himself grinning down at the tiny creature as if he was just another obstacle in his way.

Something kept him from crunching the poor, defenseless Fairy between his fingers, though. Netaro was brave, going so far as to yell at someone hundreds of times bigger than himself. It was cute, Shishio had decided long ago, and that's what he told himself anytime he was taunted for housing a tiny boy in his empty eyesocket.

Now, he'd crush the skeleton of anyone who ever meant harm to his teeny tiny Fairy friend. Netaro was special to him, held a special place in his awful, bitter heart.
