Rain cascaded around the figures, sheets pelting them softly, drenching them with freezing liquid. The three stood on the barren landscape, overlooking the town of Midgar, lit up and magnified by it's many lights and Mako Reactors.
"Are you sure you're willing to go with me? There's no turning back after you do." A man said, his long, silver hair sticking to his back, and just about anywhere else it touched. His feet moved, turning his body around to look at the two people standing behind him. Angeal Hewley, another 1st class Soldier with black hair that went to his shoulders, and two large swords. The one he used, and the one that held his pride and honor.
His mako blue eyes went to the other man, standing slightly farther back then Angeal, his brown hair completely soaked by the rain as well. Genesis Rhapsodos wore a red trench coat over his own 1st class Soldier uniform, the red outfit seeming to hang even lower by the presence of the rain.
"My friend, your desire
Is the bringer of life, the gift of the goddess."
The quote slipped from the lips of Genesis, as he quoted "LOVELESS" once again. "We will follow you until the end, Sephiroth." Angeal said, stating his own feelings. They were his true friends. The only two people he could trust after the sickening secret had been revealed.
"Even if I'm not of this world?" Sephiroth asked, turning from them again. He faced the town of Midgar once more, staring at the Mako reactors. He could hear a step from behind, and only turned his head to glance as Angeal took a step closer to him.
"It doesn't matter, Sephiroth," he said. "I mean it when I say we will stick with you until the end."
"You may not be of this world, but then neither are we." Genesis said. He knew that Sephiroth was in a different way not of this world, but they were all the same. Infused with Jenova cells, or in Sephiroth's case, her living son. Sephiroth turned to them once again. If only they knew what he was really planning.
Shinra needed to be destroyed. For him, it would have been an easy feat to accomplish. Just kill the president, and anyone who would succeed him, then commence to take down the company from the inside out. That wouldn't be all, though, of course. He had to take down every Mako facility, and be sure no one would ever try to create them again, or steal the life from the planet.
Such an easy feat for him. Being hunted by so many people, and being able to kill them easily. He didn't need Genesis and Angeal with him, but they were welcomed company. They were the only ones whom he could trust in this desolate wasteland of a planet.
"Shall we be going then?" Sephiroth asked, moving past his two friends. Genesis turned, as did Angeal, both watching him for a moment.
"Where to, Sephiroth?" Angeal asked, glancing from Genesis to his silver haired friend.
"To rid the world of the evil Shinra has placed in it." The two looked between each other, Genesis being the first to move forwards. Angeal nodded, following after his two friends.
They were in this until the end. Until Shinra was completely destroyed, or they had died trying.
