I felt the need to write today with Jesus is on my mind. I can't really explain how far his love has brought me. He has always been there for me, always is, always will be.
Sometimes we walk through life, knowing God is there, believing He's there, yet too afraid really tell someone about Him. If you see someone who needs God and stiffen up when that thought comes to mind; trust me, you're not the only one.
That's happened to me many times, many other followers as well. We are afraid that they will make fun of us, call us names, and make us feel apart from the world. The truth is, being apart from the world is not exactly a bad thing. Being a friend, follower, child of God is all we truly need. But if there is a chance… a possibility for that one soul to listen and come to know God; that would be worth it all.
Yes, I know, It's easier said than done. But have you ever felt that it would be easier to witness to a complete stranger than a friend? That's because some of our friends have grown up knowing one side of you, while a stranger welcomes you as the first person you represent yourself as.
For a friend who's never heard, don't rush it, act slowly. Do what you feel is right. Let them know who you serve.
Let them get accustomed to the real you…
Thank you for reading. I will try to continue these tips for Walking With Jesus Daily. And remember, if you ever find an unexpected twist in your life that you feel like you can't handle; pray, look to God for help and guidance and daily ask yourself this question: What Would Jesus Do?
