Alleyway, Morning Valley, Florida, 3:00 P.M.

"Vanessa, are you sure you're up for this?" Clark asked.

"I'm gonna kick this guy's ass to high heaven." Vanessa said. She held a helmet in her hand as she started walking further into the alleyway.

"You don't have to do this." Ray said. "I haven't inspected your bike, you could get hurt pretty bad."

"I'll take my chances." She approached a man leaning on a bike. "You ready?"

"You can back out, you know." The man said.

"And you can be quiet, because I don't back down." Vanessa slipped the helmet over her olive-skinned face. The helmet concealed her black hair and blue eyes.

"Alright, but don't go cryin' to me when you lose."

"I won't cry, because I won't lose."

"Alright." A woman said. She went in front of the two bikes as the two got on. "Ready… Set… Go!"

The two were off. Vanessa took a hard left turn and flew through a pillar that had been knocked over. She got the head start. Minutes later, the two were passing the entrance to the subway. The man was ahead of Vanessa. "One last hope. She took another hard left into the subway tunnel. She flew over the platform and came out the other side. She was ahead of the man now. "Gotcha." She flew back into the alleyway, followed closely by the challenger.

"Damn!"

"So, I guess you lost to the 'pathetic girl'."

"Yeah, I did…. Good job, Frank."

"Wait, how'd you know my name?"

"We went to high school together…. Remember? Kyle Young? Ah, whatever. Either way, you beat me fair and square."

"Kyle, you okay?" The woman that started the race asked.

Vanessa asked. "You're Mady, aren't you?"

"Yeah."

"You still racin'?"

"Drag racing, but yeah."

"Cool." She started talking to Kyle. "Maybe we'll meet again." She and her two best friends walked away.

Ray was driving home with the other two. "You're lucky you won."

"I thought you said my bike would go faster." Vanessa retorted.

"Whatever." Clark said. "Look out!" Some sort of ship crash landed in front of the truck as it swerved out of control.

It finally landed. "What the hell was that?"

"I don't know," Vanessa said. "but I'm gonna find out." She unbuckled, climbed over Clark, opened the door, and got out.

The boys paused for a moment, until Clark finally said, "Aw, hell!" he got out, followed by Ray. The three stood in front of a meteor. Two motorcyclists pulled up on the other side.

"What the hell?" One asked, confused. She removed her helmet, Mady Young. The other removed their helmet and, surprise, it's Kyle.

"What are you three doing here?" Kyle asked.

"It landed in front of my truck."

Don't be alarmed, children. The five looked around, dumbfounded. A woman appeared in front of them. "I am Gilda."

"Whoa." Clark said. He elbowed Ray. "She's hot."

"I have chosen five of the best racers in Florida to fight the Zeldon Empire."

"Okay, hot chick's insane."

"I'm not insane! The Zeldon Empire has conquered many galaxies and enslaved millions. You five are to become the Power Rangers: Full Throttle."
