A/N: I read spoilers for tonights episode, they make me sad. Also, I've been listening to this song on replay, (Meteor Shower by Owl City) and it reminded me of Nate & Jenny. So short little fic about their feelings for one another.

"You're a really special girl Jenny. You deserve someone whose going to see that."

-Nate Archibald

I can finally see that you're right there beside me.

He was always there for her, when she needed help. He saved her countless times. From all the bad things that crowded this world, he was there. To save her from Agnes, and even in her drugged up state she knew it was Nate. Her own personal prince charming. Even though he was with someone else, Jenny always remained constant in his mind. He cared about her, like he had no anyone else. He needed to be there for her, to save her. Somehow, it felt right.

I am not my own, for I have been made new.

When Jenny was around Nate the social hierarchy of the Upper East Side didn't matter. She didn't care about Constance or being Queen B, she was just truly herself. Nate always felt comfortable around her, he didn't have to try too hard to be perfect. They both were far from perfect, and knew it. Jenny was an outsider, from Brooklyn, making her way in the Upper East Side. Nate always felt somehow different. He didn't care about the money, the parties, all he wanted was happiness. That's what he felt around Jenny, simply happy.

Please don't let me go, I desperately need you.

They needed each other. More than both of them could admit. Jenny always provided uncomplicated enjoyment for him. She was strait up front with him, about everything. Nate provided constant caring, a sense that someone was there for her. Jenny felt a bit neglected from her father and Dan. They both would rather focus on their relationships than ever care about her. When she was in trouble, what did Dan do? He would rather spend time with Vanessa than save her from an international drug dealer. She acted like it didn't affect her, but it did. She missed her older brother. Nate always helped her.
