She walked up to the podium. Her stooped small frame, looked so fragile. She reached out to the stand using it to support her. Staring out at the sea of black, all was quite except for the occasional heart wrenching sobs from his mother. She gazed towards the back of the church keeping her eyes locked on the large wooden door, she couldn't bear to look at his family and the rest of his friends.
"I-I.." she faltered, "I wanted… to read this. He w-was fun-loving and carefree, his heart was th-the best in the world, and I loved him" she stopped, wiping the single tear that cascaded down her cheek. Starring down at her shaking hands, "always and forever" she whispered.
"Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments." She began. Eyes closed, she remembers him. She has to believe that true love has no restrictions - otherwise all is lost.
"Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O no! it is an ever-fixed mark
That looks on tempests and is never shaken." She drags her hands through her hair, and looks up at the stain glass windows her eyes glistening with tears and filled with pain.
They had gone through so much together, ups and downs, but they couldn't live without each other.
"It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken." they had not always been together, but once she realised, he was all she thought about.
"Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come" for 4 years they had been inseparably in love, whatever tragedy occurred, trouble came their way they stood together, hand in hand, determined to come through.
"Love alters … not with his brief hours and weeks," turning staring at the photo of him behind her, she began to break into heavy sobs, but continued on determined to finish.
"But.. b-bears it out even ..to the edge of doom." She gasped out between excruciating cries grasping onto her chest. She felt as if her heart was being ripped with every word.
The crowd, starred at her, breaking in front of them, silent tears falling down their cheeks.
Leaning onto the podium, unable to hold her own weight,
"If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved." She whispered into the microphone. Then collapsing to the ground in heaving sobs she lay there crying in despair.
Miley ran up to her, pulling the tiny blond girl to her chest, wiping her hair from her face. "He's g-gone" she weeped, "he's really gone."
"Lily come on, lets go sit back down" Miley called trying to pull lily off the ground.
"No, no.." she wailed crawling over to the casket "I cant leave him."
"Always and forever" she repeated through soft sobs.
"always and forever Oliver, always and forever"
