Hi guys. It's not been a very good day for me. Lots of rain, and in Marrickville and Harold Park, it flooded. Like, actually flooded. To all the people who have given me requests, I am working on them. Especially yours, DaisytheDoodleDog. I know I promised you I would edit the stories and send them to you, but I'm going through a really hard and busy time at the moment. Why am I writing this fanfiction, if I'm so busy? I'm just writing the description. I wrote this a few weeks ago, and I really want to become a betareader, so I'm posting it. But anyway, if you like the How To Train Your Dragon movies and television series, then this fanfiction is for you! I'm a Hiccup!whump obsessed freak by the way. Haha. But of course you knew that. Maybe. I don't know! xD This is a possible ending for HTTYD3. And yes, I've seen the trailer, and I know it doesn't fit, but this was made before I saw the second trailer, okay? Enjoy :D P.S POV means Point Of View for those of you who don't know.
Astrid's POV
I slowly push open the door to Hiccup's hut, and I'm a little surprised by what I see. After the dragons left and we defeated Grimmel about an hour ago, Hiccup's been acting... weird. This is hard on him, but I didn't really expect him to break down sobbing at his kitchen table like he has now. "H- Hiccup?" I say gently. "Are you okay?" He looks up suddenly, still crying quietly, and says, "No, I'm not okay! T- Toothless is gone! I've lost them, Astrid, don't you see!? And it's all m- my fault! This never would have happened, if, if I hadn't gone!" I sigh. He still blames himself for Stoick's death. "Hiccup-" I try, but he interrupts. "No, Astrid, it's my fault! All I have left, Astrid, is you and Mum..." and he puts his head in his hands and starts sobbing harder. "Hiccup, what I came to tell you was that-" I'm interrupted again by something- no, someone, knocking me over. Hiccup slowly lifts his head up, and his mouth drops open slightly. "... T- Toothless?" he whispers, and Toothless nuzzles him gently. I smile. "What I came to tell you, Hiccup, is that the dragons are back."
So? What did you think? Let me know in the reviews! They are loved! Thank you for reading!
