Power.. Some have it, some crave it, and most don't have the necessary motive to use it.

Harry Potter was one of those that had it and never had a reason to use it. Not until a week ago when the thing that had murdered his parents fourteen years ago had devised his abduction to steal his blood to complete a ritual to give that scum a body.. Tom Marvolo Riddle.. once a handsome, intelligent and powerful man had craved something that would never hold... immortality.. and in his quest to become immortal he had sacrificed the most important part of himself.. the one thing that gave his power.. his intelligents.. Tom Riddle gave up his humanity and become nothing more than scum..

When Riddle had stolen Harry's blood he had lost his last bit of humanity and essentially gave him the power to destroy him forever.

You see when Riddle had attacked the Potters and failed to kill Harry he had created a sort of bond between himself and the boy.. the child's magic and his own saw this as a challenge and when Harry repelled the killing curse he took the first of three victories needed to claim the ability to choose the fate of the other.

Skip 11 years into the future and the second victory is achieved when Harry stopped Riddle from attaining the Philosopher's Stone when he destroyed Qurriells body.

Then again just a week ago Harry had stood toe to toe and defeated Riddle once again when he managed to break the Impuris Curse and the Curiatus Curse to manage to fight back and hold off Riddle enough to take the port key that had brought him to Little Hangleton Cemetery after he had reached the center of the maze and claimed victory over three other competitors to become the youngest Triwizard Champion.

So, what does Harry do next? He heads to Gringotts Bank to get the resources he needs to end Tom Marvolo Riddle..
