Chapter 1 Spirit Armor
Right after the study group, Ash went directly to train with the Lion alongside with the Wand Trio. The three children have a very heavy heart, because no matter how hard they try, they can't unlock the message Aslan promised to change everything, the message that is stored within the Wands.
The Lion called out to the Wand Trio, where He said "You could take a break now. Your young bodies are exhausted and you have to take some rest."
"You're right..." Timmy noticed, as he and the other three began to have their back arching in tiredness. "Alright... Cosmo, Wanda, Poof."
On command, his three fairies appeared, with Cosmo remarking "Wow, I never thought that grass head waiter would blab so much on food!"
"Cosmo, Wanda, Poof, I wish that all three of us are in Dimmsdale!"
At that, Cosmo, Wanda and Poof lit their wands up, but another mistake in wishing, either in sense or misunderstanding, left Trixie and Tootie still stuck in fairy world.
"Oh, he should've said 'the Wand Trio' instead!" Trixie yelled, out of disbelief that Timmy forgot to wish them also with him.
"Or, Cosmo mistakenly heard the wish wrong?" Tootie said "Compared to Misty, Timmy's wishes are more... well, vague?"
At that point, the two girls disappeared as well, with Ash just giving a teardrop at the situation, clueless on what argument the three came into again.
Silence went on around the place, with Ash looking up to the stars to stare at its splendor, thinking deeply of his special purpose for the Intervention...
"Ash." Aslan spoke up, which somehow surprised Ash "I want you to call your group, I have to share something."
At that, Ash nodded and ran towards the direction he knows the other ten guardians where right now. The Lion just smiled, because they would discuss something important.
With the whole group of the ten orb guardians gathered, they all presented before the Lion, and kneeled down, with Ash saying "Your Majesty, why would you gather us in here?"
"Yeah, we are about to cook for this night..." Brock said "We have to leave Cilan to watch the stew."
"Because I would tell you a secret..." the Lion said with a smile, and it seemed to be that of excitement "The Sword that I'm allowing Ash to hold, and also the Armor that comes with it, is something each of you can used as well."
"Wait, what do you mean, Your Majesty?" Ash asked the Lion politely. The Lion said to "Rise up and listen to me closely..."
Everyone stood up, each bewildered at what the Lion is going to say. He went around them, walking in authority, and continued "You had a discussion about this earlier, and it is explained to you in my Word in a Figurative sense... however, in this World, and in several other worlds, the Armor and its Sword could show itself physically, and in that sense, you can physically harm any principalities you would face... as it is the only weapon that can damage them."
"Wait, so, you mean, the Armor Ash is going to wear is literally one of the abilities of the Spirit?" Misty said, pondering on the idea thoroughly. "And each of us can access it not only in a figurative sense, but if you allowed it, it can also be a physical Armor and weapon?"
"Yes..."
"Cool, that means we could easily..."
"Barry, that isn't how the Spirit Armor is supposed to be used!" the Lion growled at the Shinnoh native. "The Spirit Armor, and even the Sword, if used properly, can cause anyone, even demons, to obey you, but if misused, would send you to an instant death."
"If that is so, why are you telling us these things?" Drew asks, with the Lion replying "It is because the days of the End are coming near... I could see that the days after the Second Great War, great distress will befall on all dimensions, the birth-pains of a suffering multiverse, and this Armor would be your greatest defense and offense against all the attacks the Enemy would throw at you."
"We have already discussed about the components of the Spirit Armor in our study group, right?" Paul responded to Him "It is a belt, a helmet, a breastplate, a sword, a shoe, and a sword... and an extra element..."
"You are right with those things, Paul..." the Lion said to him, impressed by what the young man said to Him "But each of you must be careful, because if at least one... or two... of you become separated, you would be devoured by the Enemy. If you think you are safe from temptation here in Fairy World, you're completely wrong..."
"What do you mean Aslan?" Ash questioned.
"I have seen two of you committing a terrible sin in the future, even after the Spirit warned them of the fate of that sin. This is the reason why I'm telling this, so that you can protect yourselves... so listen to me closely..."
Everyone became silent, as the Lion explained each part of the Spirit Armor piece-by-piece. And the Lion started with the first piece.
"The first piece is the Belt of Truth, and it keeps the entire Armor together. The belt isn't the same as what you are wearing today, as in the time that it is written, it also included the lower armor a soldier must wear. The Belt keeps the Breastplate in the right position, and as such, it is important that you know the Truth: that you already belong to Heaven, and no amount of doubt or lies will make you fall from it."
"The second piece is the Breastplate of Righteousness. This Armor protects you on the attacks against your front side, which is your consciousness. The Enemy uses guilt so that you will no longer function, thus, I'm ordering each of you to live a Righteous Life, else, you'll be vulnerable..."
"But how could we do that, if we are already not righteous in the first place?" Max raised the question, to which the Lion responded "Max, you cannot earn Righteousness... it is given... remember the time I showed you how I became man in your world? On how I gave you the Righteousness that you already have?"
Max just replied "I remember now..."
"Good..." the Lion then continued "Now, let's go to the next piece. If your body is protected, the Enemy will surely strike your head, your mind, by giving you doubts that you are my followers. Thus, for that reason, the Helmet of Salvation is given. It is the assurance that you are already saved, that you are already heavenward, because each and everyone of you accepted what I did 2000 years ago on that Tree as the payment for their sins. With that in place, you would be able to defend against the attacks that would lead you to work your way to Heaven instead of Heaven giving you the gift of Eternal Life."
"Now, we'll go to the things you must held on to, the things you must wield. First is the Shield of Faith. The Enemy likes to attack you by using both words and by the use of piercing words, even calamities and misfortunes, something that mere Righteousness cannot protect. The Shield is useful for those occasions, as with Faith, you will see what you would hope for. With the Shield, you could protect yourself against everything the Enemy throws at you, from persecutions, to struggles, and trials in your life. It will help you go on and pursue, as it will be your motivation, your hope, for the things yet to be seen..."
"And finally, your very weapon, the Spirit Sword, my Word, the Promises written in the Scriptures. You must hold on both the Sword and the Shield, as they go hand-in-hand. Without Faith, your just flinging your sword wildly, but without the Word, how are you going to stop the Enemy? But be very careful with the Sword, as it is a double-edged one. It is powerful, powerful enough to cut through, flesh and bone, even the joints where the soul and body come together. However, used carelessly, it will also hurt others, even to the point of disbelief, and at times, it will also wound you."
"But how about the extra element?" Dawn asks "It is something that I can't understand..."
"Good thing you are honest..." the Lion said with a smile "The final element is none other than Prayer... as the Armor comes from my Father... without it, the entire Armor loses its power, as it is connected to Him."
"So, why is it that I need to still train if I could just wield it like that?" Ash remarked, with him even continuing "And why is it physically heavy?"
"Because you will need a stronger faith in the Spirit, Ash..." the Lion stared back at him. "Ash, it is now time that you realize that you are no longer a kid, but a man... to take on some responsibilities on your own. Until you managed to develop that, you can not use the Armor properly."
"But if that is true, what about the essence of the Armor manifesting itself physically?" Kenny remarked "What can it do?"
"You would never believe me if I explain it to you right now..." the Lion replied at him "But you don't need the Armor to physically manifest itself to be effective... but if I allowed it to physically show, it means the battle has turned from the spiritual realm to the physical realm..."
"Wait, hold on..." Ash said with a sign of shock in his face "So, that means that the Enemy I am facing is that powerful?"
"Yes..." the Lion replied to him. "And be careful... as he isn't someone that should be taken lightly..."
The atmosphere was suddenly broken when a stomach growl was heard loudly by everyone, with the Lion saying "I'm expecting that you are now hungry Ketchum, after all the training we've been through..."
"Yeah..." at that, some of the ten guardians chuckled. But the Lion suddenly turned serious and said "I have to give you a simple command... for the coming days until the Intervention, I want each of you to spend in groups of at least three, else, what I saw will happen to you...
"Alright you're Majesty!" May responded. Upon hearing this, the Lion said "And May, I want you to stop seeing Drew during the night..."
"Wait, why?" both of them immediately responded.
"Because you are the ones I saw..." at that cryptic remarked, the Lion left the group, walking onwards to the building of the Fairy Council to meet Jorgen and King Marumo. Misty then asks "What could the Lion mean by that?"
"I don't know... hey, can we go now and fetch something to eat? I'm already starving!" Ash yelled out, with some of agreeing to him and went on to the place that they have to eat...
But somehow, Drew and May stayed behind the group, with Drew coming near May and saying "May, what do you think the Lion is saying?"
"Could it mean that He already knows that we are already a couple?" May replied to him, with some tinge of worry with her "Drew, haven't we planned to already tell the others about our relationship?"
"I know... but what could the Lion mean by that about the two of us?" Drew rambled on "What did He saw?"
"Well..." May said while sighing "We have to find out..." At that, the two began to go on and walk towards the mess hall, bewildered by what the Lion saw...
But from afar, the Lion is seeing their actions, and said "May, Drew, I'm planning that the two of you are going to be together in the future, but as of now, your season hasn't come for you to develop an extremely close relationship... listen to my Spirit and your conscience, you know that deep inside, the timing of your relationship is wrong, and, in fact, is dishonoring me...
...and do not play near the fire of your youthful passion... for sooner, you will soon be burned by it, if you ever choose to dishonor the beautiful plan that I have for your marriage..."
