Necros: I have watched Goblin Slayer and I am sad that it won't continue further than episode 24, I enjoyed seeing how badass Goblin Slayer is but I didn't like how they limited his abilities. But I understand that you don't need very strong weapons against mere low monsters like Goblin Slayer so I will add something that is perhaps agreeable to the story.

Chapter 1: Rookies and the Master.

Guildhall.

Adventurers, they are known as people who took on quests for other people to exterminate monsters, but also for the experience of traveling to new places, places they haven't seen once in their life and remember it as they didn't travel alone but shared it with their friends. Being an adventurer is one of the greatest things according to the children of farmers who would often tell them tales, tales of how great adventure is and the experience of what it feels like of accomplishing something great...but sometimes being an adventurer wasn't the greatest thing.

Currently in the Guildhall 3 teens were searching for another party member and due to them being the lowest rank they had a hard time to find anyone who would want to join their party. But no luck as no one above the Porcelain rank wanted to join them and wanted to go for the higher quests that gave them more money, and it frustrated Warrior a lot since the quest to kill Goblins minimized 4 members if you are any lower rank then Silver or Bronze.

"We just need one more member! It is nothing but a simple quest to kill goblins!" said Warrior frustrated as his comrades' Fighter and Witch did the same but it was a simple sigh that no one wanted to join their party.

"W-Well we are Porcelain ranked, but as soon as we do get someone to join us we will show them what we are capable of!" said Witch in a confident tone and trying to cheer her comrades up.

"Definitely!" agreed Fighter eager to go questing.

"U-Uhm excuse me?" came a small voice and they looked at who it was and it was a girl that was shorter then Fighter, she wore white priest clothing and had honey-blond hair and wielded a staff made out of gold. "C-Can I perhaps join your party?"

"Of course!" answered Warrior a bit too loud making everyone look at him and when this came to be he laughed sheepishly as everyone slightly laughed at his excitement, all but one didn't laugh at all and merely passed them and said something to the Receptionist girl and she said something back and exited the guild. As the group of 4 were discussing things and explaining to the Priestess what quest they were going to do, ignoring the whispering that was going on when the person left the Guild.

"That was him right?"

"Yeah, there is no one else with armor like that."

"Why would one of the Frontier take such quests?"

"Dumbass! Haven't you heard about the people?"

"His presence alone! And the Armor intensifies it!"

"Excuse me! We would like to go on this quest to slay Goblins!" said Warrior placing the quest on the desk, even if it didn't reward that much it was still a beginning for them to have and the Receptionist gave him a worried glance, but that soon disappeared when she saw the location and merely wished them luck for their battle. "This will be the beginning of our legend!"

And with that, the party left the Guildhall to sly some Goblins and earn some money, but when they left the Receptionist prayed to every Dark and Light God or Goddess that the party would come back safe to the Guildhall.

Cave.

"Ugh! The cave stinks!" complained Fighter as the smell alone wanted her to leave the cave already, her companions agreed that the cave smelled like rotten fish and meat mixed together.

"We don't have to be very long in here! And when we meet those Goblins I will take them down in one swoop with my sword!" said Warrior pointing his sword into the air but then it hit a part of the cave making him stumble and almost lose his footing. "Whoa!"

"W-Well, we should not let our guards down," said Priestress nervously.

The group continued to walk deeper into the cave with a carefree attitude but Priestress was worried since this was her first adventure, but there was a feeling in her that warned her to be on guard for this mission. Suddenly her staff began to glow a soft light like it was acting as a night lamp and that got the attention of Priestress as her staff never acted like that before, it was handed down to her in her training in the Shrines to the Goddesses.

"What is that?" asked Warrior pointing at something that was made out fo bones, dirty cloth piece, and a skull of a human that made the adventurers a bit nervous since it was easily seen as a skull of an adult human.

"That is a Ritual Flag or either a Tribe Flag, this nest must have probably a Shaman Goblin and they are able to use at least 3 magic spells," explained Witch in a serious tone that her friends liked to call Teacher mode, after all, she graduated as the Number 1 of her Academy. "Let's just walk past it because now we know

The priestess looked more nervous than ever but then her staff began to shine and illuminated the cave a little and there was a Goblin taking a stance and ready to throw a knife.

"LOOK OUT!" shouted Priestess as she dived forward and tackled Witch to the ground, and the knife was thrown and Warrior turned around and was able to block the knife and the Goblin roared and ran back further into the cave. Now more roars were heard and that gave the Rookie team a warning to leave right now.

"We need to get out of here! The others are alarmed!"

Running back to the point where they came from wasn't easy as the dark cave made it hard for them to see until Warrior shouted that the flag would tell them where to go, and when they got to the flag they walked to the left but then were met with a dead end. "What the! But I was sure that it was left when we came into the cave!"

"The Goblins are coming closer!" shouted Fighter as the roars came closer and closer to them.

"Then let them have this!" shouted Warrior swinging his sword forward slicing through the bodies of the 2 Goblins that came first, Priestess assisted him and used a spell to light up the cave and when she did that to the team's horror there were far too many Goblins then the request said.

Witch fired out of panic a fireball spell and killed a few Goblins, Fighter assisted Warrior and punched a few away and kicked some others away. But then the chaos started when Warrior's sword made contact with the cave's ceiling and made him lose his sword and his footing, and Fighter suddenly got only 1 second to breath while fighting or punching the Goblins away as Witch and Priestess used their spells to assist them and eventually Priestess used her spell to create a wall of light.

"There are too many!"

"My sword is behind that wall!"

"You can't take it! They will eat your arm before you get the chance!"

The priestess looked horrified at the expressions that the Goblins were making, hungry-looking at Warrior and lustfully looking at the 3 of them and suddenly the whispering of adventurers came into her head what happened to rookie teams when they went to slay Goblins, and also that they never came ever back and that only the females had a higher chance of survival but as mere shadows of their former selves.

Her nervousness was going to be her downfall as that made the Light Wall weaker and the Goblins became more vicious and victorious as the Light wall had cracks in them.

"Focus! If you lose focus then the wall becomes weaker!" shouted Witch trying to make Priestress snap out of her fear, even if it was hard for her as well.

Too late as the Light wall shattered and the Goblins came in and began to overwhelm them and Warrior tried to fight back but was pushed on the ground, the world became grey and time slowed down as his life flashes before him. Looking to the side he saw Fighter and Witch pushed down as their clothes got ripped off, and Priestess was leaning against the wall looking horrified as the Goblins came closer to her as well.

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I-I have been too insistent about the quest and now they will meet a fate worse than death!" mentally shouted Warrior as he wanted to punch himself in the face for being so arrogant that Goblins would never defeat them, and now he would have to watch the horrible fate that would happen to his team. "Please, someone save them! I don't care if I have to work for years, but don't let that fate happen to them!"

He prayed that someone would help them, even to the Devils, demons, and even the despised evil Gods.

"Grah!" a Goblin fell dead next to Warrior who opened his eyes when he heard the monster groan.

Several knives flew out of the darkness behind the Goblins all of them was a hit on and soon chains came out as well and dragged the Goblins into the darkness, and this made the monsters know it and roared in rage and ran towards the source that killed their brothers. In the darkness slices and groans of Goblins were heard, Warrior picked up his sword and immediately ran over to his teammates if they were okay.

"Are you guys okay!?"

"Y-Yeah," answered Witch with a shaky nod as the only damage they received were a few scratches and their clothes damaged, but not beyond repair.

A goblin came back but with a horrified expression as blood was splattered over him, but Warrior stepped forward and sliced the Goblin in half with all his strength and kicked the corpse away.

"...Good kill," came a voice from the Darkness the Goblins went to.

Warrior was trembling still not completely recovered from the almost coming deaths of his comrades and held out his blade towards the darkness where the voice spoke from. The voice chuckled softly and the figure stepped out of the darkness as it clung onto him like a cloak. "W-Who are you?"

"...All-Slayer," answered the figure wearing the menacing full-body armor making Warrior gasp at who he was talking to.

"T-The All-Slayer?" asked Priestress confused.

After the battle.

"When the Gods got to this world the Battle between Gods erupted resulting into destruction and creation," began Witch as she used some of her magic to show something to Priestess about the history. "The Gods before they became evil were always jealous of their brothers and sisters for their divine-looking, their powers, and their creation of humanity but soon the Evil Gods killed one of them and all of them received the powers of creation,"

The light showed shapes of human forms standing in the white light, and also horrific figures standing in the darkness.

"Humanity had failed the Light Gods because mainly humans perceived that good and light and shunned the Dark Gods as something that is the eternal enemy of the Light Gods, and that resulted into killing each other," the light showed the Gods battling. "Now with the powers of creation in the hands of the now turned Evil Gods went horribly wrong as their powers didn't go well corrupting the powers and minds and the creation became now something that would search destruction,"

"But what does that have to do with now?" asked warrior confused.

"The Goblins are rumored to be the first creations of the Evil Gods that search nothing but destruction and filled with malice and envy towards humans who had intelligence and beauty. And since they barely shown any progress so the Evil Gods made more powerful beings of destruction, with the only intend to destroy the peaceful days of humanity," explained Fighter who knows the history as her father had a few books, education was also important besides fighting.

"...The creation of the blessings and adventurers!" realized Warrior.

"Yes, many adventurers have received great blessings from the Gods, but one particular adventurer stood out from most adventurers because he used magic without ever having received a blessing," continued Witch as she watched the All-Slayer out of the corner of her eyes, filled with interest, admiration, and curiosity. "And despite how many adventurers whispered and rumored him nothing but one who wanted to show off, but soon that was proven wrong as he has killed, no, slew many enemies on the battlefield."

"From Goblins, Demons, Orcs, Ogres, Chimera's, Wyrms, Wyverns, Imps, Cerberus, Phantoms, Apophis, Basilisks, Slimes, Cyclops, Evil mages, Undead, and many more and it is even rumored that he has slain a Demon Lord," interrupted Fighter again with excitement clear in her voice and her eyes were also filled with them as she looks at All-Slayer who was on the lookout.

Warrior looked at the back of All-Slayer with admiration, while Priestess looked interested until something dawned upon her thoughts. "But why is someone of the Frontier now doing quest like Goblin-Slaying?"

"Because someone needs to look after the villages, rookies like you can't be trusted with it to do it and will end up dead," answered All-Slayer surprising the whole group when he began to talk while he didn't even move an inch.

"...You're right," admitted Warrior who reflected on a scene played out in his head what could've happened if he didn't come.

"...Follow me, since you are rookies I will teach you how to deal with the Goblins if you were to do a slaying quest," answered All-Slayer who put his hand into the darkness and pulled out a short sword and handed it to Warrior. "Your sword is too long and will only hinder your ability to swing it, and in case your asking about my sword it is a magical one that phases through any object as long as it is in the darkness,"

"...okay, then teach us," answered Warrior who felt embarrassed that he had been that easily seen through of what he was about to ask.

They followed the frontier veteran and walked towards the place where the flag was, All-Slayer pointed at the flag and then to a tiny circle on the left showing that the flag was put onto a different spot. "Goblins may have simple techniques, but in the darkness, they are very deceiving and have a Goblin watching if any adventurers enter and then switch the Flag's place,"

All-Slayer sheathed out his sword and destroyed the wall that separated the 2 paths. "You are right about them having a shaman, and look at this knife that was thrown at you was embedded with poison,"

The knife was rusty, old, and showed that it wasn't well-taken care off but a faint outline of palish green.

"For now we will diminish their numbers, and from the looks of this carcass of an animal there is a Hobgoblin," said All-Slayer pointing to a carcass of a sheep, while the rest were smaller probably from lambs. All-Slayer then handed a pot filled with brown liquid to Warrior who held it and where he got it was unknown. "This is low-quality oil, there are a few Goblins up ahead so I will take them down,"

Without warning, All-Slayer dashed forward and darkness covered him and a few groans were heard up ahead.

"Can we do anything to help him?" wondered Fighter as she was paying attention to All-Slayer's teachings, but she wanted to take a shower soon as the blood of the Goblins drenched some of her clothes and it stinks! It was thick, fatty, and very smelly!

"No, you learn for now as I teach you how to slay them and also Goblins have a very sensitive smell for women," said All-Slayer making them all of them almost jump as he emerged from the darkness. He then focused his attention on the 2 mages and asked them 1 question. "Do you know any light-based spells?"

"I-I do!" answered Prietess.

"I don't," answered Witch.

All-Slayer nodded and lit up a torch for the rookies to see in the darkness and revealed the corpses of Goblins. "First, Goblins don't easily die from getting their throats slashed open, or their guts spilled out as they have some nasty tenacity,"

One of the corpses jumped up and leaned towards All-Sayer with a wicked grin but then the world was upside down, but in truth, it was that his head was slashed off his body. "Make always sure that they are dead,"

He then stuck his hand into the darkness again and got out a pair of leather gloves with metal straps on the knuckled and handed them to Fighter. "Using only your bare fists to fight monsters isn't a smart idea, as you end up sometimes fighting monsters with a hard skin,"

Fighter nodded and put them on.

"We've arrived," there was a hole up ahead and roars could be heard from it and All-Slayer kicked the body of the dead Hobgoblin and it showed that a few Goblins got crushed by their comrade, then he threw the pot with low-quality oil down followed by the torch when the sound of broken glass was heard and roars of pain echoed in the cave.

"A-Are we not supposed to check if there is anyone down there before we attack?" asked Prietess concerned for any unfortunate women, but her heart said that if they died along then they would be happy to.

"That low-quality oil isn't enough to spread out, it was meant to kill a few Goblins and now we have to enter to take down the shaman," answered All-Slayer as he jumped into the hole and was followed by the rookies. "Now it is time for us to kill, you follow me, and then you 2 cast a blinding spell and a support spell if there is a Hob with you guarding them,"

Then he rushed forward followed by Warrior and Priestess immediately cast the Blinding spell and pure white light erupted from her staff and Goblins were seen ahead but shielded their eyes to the bright light, but met quicky deaths by the sword slices of All-Slayer and Warrior who was now more careful with swinging the short sword he was handed, even if it wasn't as long as his normal sword he didn't want to make mistakes again.

The Shaman was seen up ahead and it had a cloth over its face and then held it's staff and cast a fireball spell but then was pierced with a few sharp rocks shaped like daggers into its abdomen.

"Take this!" shouted Warrior piercing his sword straight into the chest of the Shaman roaring in pain and tried to retaliate, but Warrior quickly pulled out his sword out of the monster and stabbed it in the had and repeated it again by stabbing the sword into another vital spot. "Goblins can fucking fight even with their guts spilled out! But I like to see you try and fight this!"

"Your done, it is now dead," said All-Slayer placing his hand on Warrior's shoulder making the rookie stop.

"...the sword is..." Warrior stopped as he didn't want to offend the Frontier but the blade...was now hard to use since it was covered in Goblin blood and it was very disgusting like it was red fat, as his last stab almost slipped off the body.

"No problem, it is a common problem for weapons as Goblin blood is like fat," assured All-Slayer the rookie who tried to wipe the blood off by the cloth that the Goblin used to cover its eyes. The rest of the team joined and they arrived by a wooden fence and the frontier kicked it down revealing what was behind.

"G-Goblin brethren!" whispered Fighter and Witch didn't feel good when she saw the body of a naked and abused woman laid against the wall of the cave. All-Slayer said nothing but pulled out a cloak of the darkness and covered the woman with it who was still alive and handed her over to Warrior who immediately checked her along with Witch and Priestess.

All-Slayer walked forward with his blade drawn and Fighter looked shocked, she glanced at the Goblin children and merely closed her eyes and opened them up with a hardened look as she punched her fists together.

"Wait! A-Are you going to kill them?" asked Priestess.

Witch stopped her and shook her head, her eyes showed no sympathy and didn't even glance at the children as she focused all her attention to the abused woman. "Leave them be, you have seen what kind of monsters they grow up to be,"

"S-So," said Priestess.

"There is no good Goblin in the entire world, they are nothing but selfish and cruel monsters that will end up destroying villages and rape women daily," memories came back to All-Slayer's thoughts of his past, the cruelty of the Goblins and the ones he had lost in his life. "If there is one, then the chance is non-existent and only dead Goblins are the ones that are good...they won't be able to HARM ANYONE!"

Then slashes of punches were heard followed by screams of pain.

Outside.

"Thank you, sir!" said the farmer simply as All-Slayer build up fences that would serve as the main defense for the village beside the river filled with spikes, it was made out of stone and wooden logs and it spared the villagers a lot of time, since All-Slayer merely held his hand up to the logs that were chopped down from the trees as he requested from the village and a red light emits and the logs and stone would build themselves up into walls. "I-I don't know how to pay you for all of this, and the village isn't in the best state,"

"Just give me the normal reward, I did it because I wanted to help you," was the reply of All-Slayer who received other thanks from the head of the village and handed him and the other adventurers the bag with money. All-Slayer nodded to them and walked into the direction of the Guildhall to report that he had done his mission with some other adventurers.

Warrior stared at the back of the retreating form of All-Slayer and then remembered all the things that have happened in the cave, the deaths that would come and not reading in his guidebook that was handed to him when he registered as an adventurer. 'I've heard that the All-Slayer was now doing only Goblin slaying...but I never believed it thinking that a frontier had busier things to do as the demons are now coming back,'

He had waved off that Goblins were easy for rookies to deal with but the cave proved otherwise and how horrifying they could be and what would happen to his comrades if it weren't for the frontier to help his team. But the lingering thought in his head that asked what would've happened to his team if he didn't come, he tried his hardest not to think of the image but something inside him he needed to see it.

They would've suffered the same fate as the woman they found in the cave, horrifying images of what he would see came in his head and it made him shudder. "All-Slayer, wait up!"

All-Slayer stopped his walking and turned around. "What is it that you want from me?"

"...can I request tutelage from you for us all," asked Warrior which shocked the rest of his group that he asked such a huge favor from such a famous Frontier Veteran. All-Slayer said nothing but the only thing visible from him was his shining red eye.

Necros: I leave it here, hope you guys enjoyed the first chapter, although in my opinion the beginning sucks a little but I am improving!
