Heyo guys! I just finished S8 of SPN and decided to put all my feels regarding the finale into a poem. So, here you go!
Lying on the ground, dear Sammy is dying.
Kneeling beside him, Dean's voice is calling.
Struggling to stand, Castiel is crying.
And the angels, oh, the angels
The angels are falling.
Crowley, abandoned, disgraced King of Hell
Is chained in the trap, and is crying as well.
He's shaking, he's scared, he doesn't want to leave;
To be human and die. With no friends he grieves.
Lying on the ground, dear Sammy is dying.
Kneeling beside him, Dean's voice is calling.
Struggling to stand, Castiel is crying.
And the angels, oh, the angels
The angels are falling.
The now-fallen Cas, Grace ripped and torn,
Thinks how he was tricked, wonders why he was born.
Metatron, a long-lost brother who claimed
His actions would set things right, clear his name.
Lying on the ground, dear Sammy is dying.
Kneeling beside him, Dean's voice is calling.
Struggling to stand, Castiel is crying.
And the angels, oh, the angels
The angels are falling.
Naomi was broken, and Abbadon lives.
She now seeks a way to take the crown from "Him".
The Knight of Hell, torn and ripped though may be,
Will not rest till her master is free.
Lying on the ground, dear Sammy is dying.
Kneeling beside him, Dean's voice is calling.
Struggling to stand, Castiel is crying.
And the angels, oh, the angels
The angels are falling.
Wings, once glorious, now burn bright
As Castiel's brethren careen through the night.
With loud screams and cries, they fall to the ground;
Doomed to be human, their Grace never found.
Lying on the ground, dear Sammy is dying.
Kneeling beside him, Dean's voice is calling.
Struggling to stand, Castiel is crying.
And the angels, oh, the angels
The angels are falling.
I shake my head slowly, without shame I cry.
"It was never meant to be this way! They can't just let them die!"
Once a tale of two brothers; their father's whereabouts their quest.
Now, year after year, no one will let them rest.
Lying on the ground, dear Sammy is dying.
Kneeling beside him, Dean's voice is calling.
Struggling to stand, Castiel is crying.
And the angels, oh, the angels
The angels are falling.
So... Yeah, the rhyme scheme changes in that "chorus" thingy, but... other than that, I personally think it's the best I've ever written (hence the only one I've published online).
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed it. I haven't started S9 yet, so not sure exactly what happens... just best guesses.
