A/N: Hi all! I'm posting this little sonnet I did for school last year so you all know I'm alive. (;A;) Well, anyway, this poem was based on the lovely Iceland (the title is my favorite out of his possible names). I'd say it's from all the other Nordics' views.
Eiríkur
Numbingly cold and distant from the rest
You hide your true self, feeling so anxious
Your frigid shield that we've tried to transgress
It keeps your heart locked up, away from us
Behind all that, you're burning up inside
Your constricted heart holds so much fire
You've tried to let these offbeat feelings slide
But your eyes give away your desire
Why is it that when you act so icy
We always know what you're really meaning
I guess we'll always think of you warmly
Our love for you will always be blazing
You cannot hide yourself that much longer
Your emotions will only grow stronger
A/N: Well, thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed it! You probably didn't like it that much (because I know my poetry isn't all that good)!
