So. I was bored, so I wrote this. It sucks, but yeah...
It's based on Bluebird's Illusion. The Pride!Ed ending. Kinda EnvyxEd, or EnvyxPride!Ed, but I'll let you decide...
Copyright: I do NOT own Fullmetal Alchemist or Bluebird's Illusion. I wish I at least owned a copy of it though...
Note: I'll be referring to Pride!Ed as just Pride, because Pride!Ed is too hard to type. Well, not really, but I'm lazy.
"Okay, Pride. Today, you're going to learn to kill people." Envy announced.
Pride cocked his head to the side. "Kill...people? ...What's that?"
"It's, um, putting people to sleep." Envy answered.
"...It won't...hurt them?" Pride asked uncertainly.
"No, it won't." Envy said. Why do I have to babysit the brat, anyways? He doesn't know ANYTHING!
"Envy?" Pride asked.
He looked down at Pride's blank eyes. "What?"
"Does...killing people...make Envy...happy?"
Envy studied Pride's face, then smirked. "Yeah, it makes me happy." Well, for the most part. It hurt when I killed Edward. It hurt when I turned him into a Homunculus. Now he's just some emotionless brat who keeps annoying me.
"Oh." Envy remember something. "I forgot. You never saw your little brother's grave, did you?"
"...bro...ther?" Pride asked.
"Yeah, Alphonse Elric." Envy said. "You don't remember, o chibi-san?"
Pride's face remained blank and emotionless.
He doesn't even react if I call him short. He's so boring now. "Come on, let's go to Resmebool."
Pride stared at the grave stone. Edward Elric was carved into it.
"There you go." Envy said. "Your grave."
"...My grave..." he said slowly. Pride looked up at Envy. "...what's...in there?"
"Hm... I don't know." Envy admitted. "You want to find out?"
"..." Pride remained silent.
Envy studied his face. Still nothing. I thought going back to his old home might bring back something, but I guess not.
He sighed. "Let's go, Pride."
"..."
No reaction from Pride, of course. Envy thought. Poor guy...
He rested his arm on Pride's shoulder. "Just a puppet now, hm, Edward?"
If you looked closely, you could just barely see the hint of sadness on Envy's face...
Envy and Pride returned back "home", if you could call it home.
"Envy?" Pride tugged on his hand.
"Yeah?"
"What's...love?" He asked.
Envy stared at him, stunned. "Love? Pride, you're asking about love? Or actually, you're asking me about love?"
"...are you...mad...Envy?" he asked.
Envy shook his head. "I'm not mad, I'm just confused."
"...does Envy...love me?"
"...Pride, what happened to you?" Envy asked suspiciously. "Has the Fullmetal Midget taken over your body or something?"
"Fullmetal...midget?"
Envy sighed. "I guess not..."
"...Did Envy...love...Edward?" Pride asked.
Envy ground his teeth and stared at the ground.
"Edward..." Pride looked at Envy. "Who...was he?"
Envy laid his hand on Pride's head. "He...he was you."
"...then does Envy love Pride?"
Envy looked at Pride. Pride looked back with his blank eyes.
Envy leaned over to hug Pride. "Yeah, I love you."
For the first time, Pride smiled.
I know, crappy ending. I couldn't think of anything else so...yeah.
Um...reviews please?
By the way, has anyone else read the last chapter of Fullmetal Alchemist? Was anyone else slightly disappointed by the ending? I was hoping it would be more...epic.
You can read it here if you haven't yet: .com/Full_Metal_Alchemist/108/000/
*Spoiler*
And Ed just isn't complete without his alchemy.
*End Spoiler*
But yeah, I kinda wanted to vent a little bit after reading it...ha ha ha...I guess.
