Just a short little one-shot based on the song Soldatino by Paola Bennet. Seriously, if you haven't heard it, listen to it, now. That'll be the best decision in your life. Honestly, that song really tugged at my heartstrings :'(

Time Set: Just after Bianca's death.

Nico reached out at the ghost of his sister. He felt tears streaking uncontrollably down his cheek.

"Bianca…," he whispered, his voice shaking. Bianca placed a hand softly on Nico's cheek, and he could almost feel his sister's warmth emanating from it.

"Don't cry, Nico," she crooned. "Please don't go through your life wishing I was there."

Nico's shoulders shook as he placed a hand on Bianca's, which was still stroking his cheek. Even though they were never in physical contact, Nico always felt a sense of comfort and belonging around his sister.

Bianca brushed a strand of dark hair away from Nico's face. She gave him a small smile.

"You're my little soldier. You're the reason I lived, Nico. I'll always be there, watching over you. Never forget that," Bianca whispered, placing a soft kiss on his forehead.

"I-It was Percy's fault. I told him to protect you," Nico said softly.

Bianca shook her head sadly. "No, Nico. It was nobody's fault. And don't blame Percy. He was doing everything in his power to help you." She reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out a Mythomagic card. She held it out to Nico, and he took it with trembling hands.

Nico suppressed a gasp as he saw it. "It's...Hades. The only card I don't have yet," he exclaimed.

Bianca chuckled softly. "I was saving it for a gift when I got back from my quest, but I never got the chance."

There was a moment of silence as Nico admired the card. It had been so long since he had laid eyes on a Mythomagic card, and the memories came flowing back like a waterfall.

"Nico, look at me," she said, cupping Nico's face into her hands. "I must leave now. But promise that you'll never forget me."

Nico shook his head slightly, feeling more tears cascade down his face. "I never will, Bianca. I-I love you."

Bianca stared into Nico's dark brown eyes. After a few moments, she pulled away. "I love you, too. Io veglierò su di ti." Her voice faded away as her ghost dissipated into nothing.

Nico looked down at the Mythomagic card in his hands. He ran his fingers across the smooth surface. Bianca's parting words echoed in his mind. Io veglierò su di ti. I'm watching over you.

Nico tucked the card into his pocket. He looked up at the starry sky.

He whispered, "You were the reason I lived, Bianca"

Sorry that was super short. I didn't know what else to add…
