Okay people

Okay people! This is a story I wrote for Mr. Diver's class. I got an A+, so I hope you like it! I don't own Ken, but I do own Lissette. Enjoy my story! It's got a lot of detail.

Just A Little Longer

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Lissette said, looking into the distance. Her blue eyes seemed to be focused on the beautiful scenery of flowers and trees, and they were shining and gleaming like the sun. Her long, golden hair tumbled down the back of her flower printed shirt, and reflected off of the sun, only to look more golden.

"It is, but not nearly as beautiful as you," Ken stated, his gaze meeting hers. You could tell he was blushing nervously, because his normally calm face was contorted with a nervous look, and he was sweating, which in the sun's brilliant light, made it look like he just splashed his face with water. His cool, blue eyes seemed to stare right through her to her soul, and his blue hair dangled hypnotically in front of his eyes, as if to annoy him.

"It's getting late," Lissette said, gazing up at the slowly, setting sun. Even though it was summer, by 6:00 P.M., it started to get dark.

"Just stay a little longer," pleaded Ken, his eyes full of worry. He brushed some of her golden hair from her eyes, "I don't want you to go."

"Alright," Lissette said, "maybe just a little longer."

They sat under a dogwood tree and watched the sun set, when Ken spoke, "Lissette?"

"Yes Ken?" Lissette asked.

"I love you," Ken managed to get out. He looked away, afraid of what her reaction might be, when Lissette pulled him closer to her.

"I love you too, Ken," she said, eyes beaming like her heart. They leaned closer to each other, as if to plant a kiss on their lips, and a bandage around their two hearts, to entwine them together for eternity, when RING! Lissette's cell phone went off.

"Hello!" she yelled angrily. Ken hung his head disappointed, when she clicked off her phone and said, "That was my brother, I gotta go now."

Then, Ken said calmly, "Well, just remind me where we left off next time." Then the two rode off into the distance.
