"Oh Arnold", Helga said stretched out on her bed, watching TV. "My love, his football shaped head, his dreamy blue eyes, how I love him and how I wish for us to be together, if only he knew my feelings of love, if only he knew".
"If only he knew".
Helga looked up at the TV from where the voice was coming from. Some soap opera was on.
["If only he knew", said a women's voice. "If only William knew the feelings I had for him."
"But you must tell him, Victoria. You must tell him now."
"Reveal my biggest secret to him? Never!"
"Why don't you sent him a letter?"
"A letter?"
"Yeah a secret admirer letter. A letter telling your feelings for him - signed his secret admirer". ]
"A secret admirer letter, huh?" Helga said with an evil laugh. Helga pulled out a sheet and carefully wrote her secret admirer letter to Arnold. As she finished, the door to her room opened.
"Oh Helga, my baby sister!" cried Olga's voice.
"Olga?! What the heck are you doing here?"
"I wanted to surprise my baby sister!"
"Great", Helga mumbled rolling her eyes. "Well, gotta go to school. C-ya!"
Helga rushed out the door trying to get away from her perfect older sister, when she realized she forgot the secret admirer letter. She rushed up to her room to get it. When she opened the door, she saw Olga reading her letter.
"AHHHHH!!! OLGA!! WHAT ARE Y-"
"Oh Helga, this is so sweet. A little secret admirer letter to your friend Arnold."
"Olga, you can't just read my PERSONAL STUFF! What else did you look at?"
"Nothing, just this letter".
"Olga, you have to swear to never tell anybody I wrote this letter".
"Of course, why would I ever tell anyone?"
"You swear? Or I'll give you this". Helga held up her fist.
"I won't tell anyone baby sister".
Helga snatched the letter. At school she put it in Arnold's locker.
"What's wrong?" said Gerald looking at Arnold's surprised face.
"Nothing. I just got a letter...from a secret admirer." Soon people were crowded around Arnold.
"Oooo...Arnold's got a secret admirer!" Harold teased.
"I wonder who it is", Stinky said.
"What does it say", asked Wanda. Arnold read the note.
"Dear Arnold,
I cannot tell you who this is. All I can say is that I like you. I love your football shaped head and your big blue eyes and your sun colored hair. You are kind and thoughtful. Arnold, my love!
Signed,
Your Secret Admirer"
"That's so romantic!" exclaimed Lila.
"I wonder who has a crush on you", wondered Gerald.
"That's so lame!" Harold screamed.
"I don't think it's lame", Arnold said. "I think it's -well- sort of sweet".
"He thinks it's sweet", exclaimed Helga hiding behind a wall. "He likes the letter- he really likes it!" Helga came from her hiding spot. "So football head got a secret admirer", Helga laughed. She grabbed the letter, made a spitball out of it, and threw it Arnold's head.
"Hey, why'd you do that Helga?" Arnold cried furiously.
"For the spitball of the day football head".
"She makes me so mad sometimes", Arnold said to himself.
As Arnold walked home he saw Olga.
"Hi Olga".
"Oh you must be Helga's little friend Arnold!" Olga exclaimed.
"Yeah, I'm Arnold".
"You seem so nice. Can I help you with anything?"
"No thanks Olga. Unless you know who wrote this secret admirer letter".
"Oh I do!" Olga said excitedly.
Arnold starred at Helga's sister blankly. "You do?"
"Yes, HELGA wrote the secret admirer letter!"
