Logic and Reason

Late at night as the world slept, Charlie's dreams would come to life. To most people in the world, they were wrong. To him, however, they felt right. Each night, he would find himself in his lover's arms. The dates they would go out on, the late nights they would stay in, the time it'd take for them to make love. To him, it was all real. But all that changed one night. Alan had gone out of town with Stan for a golf game. For the first time in a long time, Charlie found himself home alone.

Don and his team had this morning wrapped up a fraud case. At one point in the case, Colby had come by the house to give Charlie some information. That day, Colby had accidentally left a folder there Charlie had put it up and forgotten about it until this night so he thought it would be a good time to call Colby and let him know that he had left it there.

Colby had come over to retriever the folder and found Charlie waiting on him.

"Thanks for keeping it for me," he told him as he walked in the door. Neither of them could say what had changed that night, but they both saw something new in each other that night.

Once Colby was fully in the door, Charlie closed and locked it behind him. Then he walked towards Colby. As he watched Colby back up until his back hit the door.

"Please, don't do this," Colby asked as Charlie started to kiss his face and neck.

"Please, don't do what? You don't even know what it is I'm doing."

Colby was lost in the feelings that the kiss were having on him. There were a million reasons that he could give Charlie that this was a bad idea, not to mention the fact that he was Don's little brother. But right now, they didn't seem to matter.

"Actually, I do. The thing is I don't think you do."

Charlie was a little taken back. What was he doing wrong? Placing his hands on Colby's back, he pulled the agent closer to him. Now they could both feel the effects of what Charlie was doing.

Colby wanted to be the bigger man, but the feel of Charlie's hot body pressed tightly against his made any reasoning go out the door. The kisses that were still being placed on his neck, combined with the desire to be with the younger man, it all made Colby's mind up for him. That night, Charlie's and Colby's dreams became reality.
