Authors Note: I do not own Pirates of the Caribbean, if I did would I really be posting this? Nope, I would be sitting back and enjoying my money.. but im not doing that, I am, unfortunately, a poor girl, cursed to daydream and write those daydreams out.. ahem.. to the story..
Virginia sat at her desk, staring at her notebook, well, glaring to be more precise. Why would Virginia be glaring at her notebook?
She is twenty, and by some stroke of luck managed to get into a college, though how was still the mystery to her. She wasn't stupid or slow, but she despised homework.
Especially essays, and as those tended to count for most of the grade, it wouldn't be a big stretch to assume that her grades were horrible.
She is very short, about five-foot nine inches tall, she had brown hair that had a hint of natural highlights, she usually kept her hair rather short, but for some reason had neglected to get it cut, so it reached to her mid-back. She had green eyes, and was curvy, she was slimming down quite quickly actually, you see, in high school she was a bit on the heavier side, but now fit nicely into a medium-sized shirt, she would be in a small, but they were too tight around her chest.
And back to why she was glaring at the notebook. Her English Professor had asked the class for an essay on their current opinions on a list of random things, it was due in a week but had to be several pages long, and hand written. She glanced out her window, noting at how nice it was outside. The sky was blue, sun was shinning, and it didn't seem to be too windy.
She stood up from her desk and moved to her closet, she changed from her pajamas into her white hoodie and a pair of jean shorts, then slipped her sandals on then marched out of her dorm, nodding to people as they passed by her. She thought she heard music coming from the movie room and was instantly reminded of her friend, Amber.
Amber was obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean and would often sneak down to the movie room to watch it at all hours of the day. Virginia often said she shouldn't do it, technically the movie room was closed until seven at night, because during the day students should be busy with homework or classes. She shook her head, peeking into the room, ready to scold her friend once again, but noted that the room was rather empty, yet on the television screen a young Elizabeth Swann was singing about pirates.
Suddenly the lights started to flicker then went out completely, yet when she glanced to the television the movie was still playing as if the power had not just gone out. As the camera moved to show the ocean in passing, everything went black.
Okay, so I know it was short, but its only the first chapter, anyway I hope you liked it! R&R please!
