Request for a friend :3

It was a normal day like any other, the birds were singing, the sky was clear and blue, and the day was just so perfect. It couldn't possibly be any better, which of course means from here on its downhill.

Duncan and Gwen were lounging about his house, simply talking, laughing at random things, and having a swell time. They had been dating for a little over two months, and Gwen was fairly happy, Duncan, being a masochist, was not. Gwen was feisty, but she never tried to hurt him or 'teach him a lesson'.

Needless to say, he was soon going to end the relationship.

"Duncan" Gwen said, seeing her boyfriend once again stare into space. "you home?"

"Huh? Oh, yeah… Gwen, we need to talk!" He blurted out. He didn't want to hurt her, but how could he break up and not?

"About what?" She smiled obliviously.

"Us… its not working out." Duncan sighed and looked down, there was a long silence before she answered.

"… I see… i-its ok… I totally understand" She tried to smile, but her eyes betrayed her and she started to cry silently. She grabbed her bag and ran out the door, and not even a minute afterwards, it began to storm, loud thunder, bright lightning, hard rain, strong winds. Gwen was not only devastated, but now she was scared and in danger. She ran into a random coffee shop to take refugee from the monster outside. Walking to a table she sniffled and put her bag down.

"What can I get you miss?" A young voice, all too familiar asked. Gwen looked up at him, and to her shock she saw the gap toothed smile of Cody.

"Cody? What are you doing here?" she sniffled again, still crying.

"Gwen? I work here, but way more importantly why are you crying?" He asked, putting a hand on her shoulder, to his surprise it wasn't shaken off.

"Well I was out and… Duncan broke up with me!" She began sobbing into her arms, Cody who was having a wide range of emotions pulled her close and held her tight.

"Gwen, it'll be ok I promise. Duncan is not good enough for you. You deserve someone who treats you right, who'll always love you no matter what." Gwen sniffled, and when she looked up at cody his words began to run through her head. She smiled at him.

"Someone like you." Cody blinked, he hadn't been expecting that. Sure, he liked Gwen but he's no sleez, he's not gonna take a girl off the rebound cause its easy, he'll help them feel better, sure, but never take advantage of them.

"well… yeah I guess so." He smiled a bit at her, but it didn't last long as she stole his lips in a kiss. He resisted the urge to fist pump, and wrapped his arms around her tightly. Gwen broke away and smiled leaning into his chest.

"Ya know, princes usually come in riding a white stallion on a sunny day." Cody chuckles and kissed the top of her head.

"Well, this prince thinks its time for something different." Gwen smiled and snuggled into him.

"yeah. And I guess storms are ok. If it weren't for them I wouldn't be here." Cody kissed her again, once they broke away he smirked.

"No, this was meant to be. Even without a storm you would have found your way to me." He kissed her again, and as this continued the sign on the door went to closed fairly quickly.
