B13K: Wow, it's been a whole year since I published a story here. Anyways ...

Disclamer: I don't not own RozenMaiden but I do own the poem at the ending.

TWO DIFFERENT TEARS

There are two different types of tears in this world. The first one, most commonly know as tears of sadness & the second, the rare one, tears of joy. It's easy and often for someone to feel dejected and bleak. For example, by watching a heart-rending story or having something terrible befall upon your family. You never know what will happen tomorrow or in another few minutes and that's everyone's greatest fear.

However, happiness is something you must work to achieve. You can't be joyful over a love one's death, you can't smile when you have no friends to smile with. No, you have to work for it. And that's exactly what SuiginTou did or tried to by playing the Alice Game.

When she first met Shinku, she had cried and called out to Father as a lost child. When she was cut in half by Souseiseki, she cried again, "Why?". And then there was the time Shinku actually managed to kill her in Jun's world. All those times … it was all Shinku's fault her life was so miserable.

Rain poured onto the streets of Tokyo. It was night time and the heavy rain made the sky look more dark and dreary. The bright light of signboards and buildings illuminated the city. In a certain hospital, a young girl with long black hair and warm brown eyes watched the silver haired doll sit on the window still with a smile. "Tenshi-sama, are you thinking about Shinku again," the girl asked, in ever a soft voice.

"No," SuiginTou replied nonchalantly.

"Then what are you thinking about?"

Silence … the doll let out a sigh and turned to face her weak medium. "I'm thinking about Father …" she said. "Rozen? … what was he like?"

Suigintou thought for a few moments, "None of us dolls remember much about Father … but I do remember that he is always surrounded with a warm and calming aura …."

Rozen, are more commonly known as Father was the creator of the 7 Rozen Maidens. It is also a fact that of all the dolls, SuiginTou loved Father the most. The first doll closed her eyes and imagined herself in Rozen's embrace ….

A bright clear sky, clouds that made funny and weird shapes. The wind rustled the trees and brought the fragrance of flowers with it. There was nothing else in sight for miles and miles away except for the Victorian style building overgrown with ivy.

As I trample on the daisies of the valley that sway

The fragrance of flowers that danced and fell away

Is more aromatic than the dream which I am buried in

Wait … there's something else … a person …. A tall figure stood with open arms under the archway of roses. His long blonde hair hid his eyes but SuiginTou knew that smile anywhere. "Father!" she exclaimed & ran towards him.

He picked her up and held her.

Finally, I can be with Father, she thought to herself as her tears fell. This time, not of sadness like all those other times but because she was with Father. Her hatred for Shinku slipped away and the importance of the Alice Game forgotten. Peace.

The vestige of sweetness in a falsified dream

"I don't wish to wake up ... ever"
