Summary: Kenny finds himself alone

Beep. Beep. Beep.

Kenny's eyes cracked open. The hospital? He usually just woke up back in his room...He pulled himself into a sitting position, looking around tiredly. His coat lay over a chair, covered in blood and large burn marks. His eyes darkened as he remembered why exactly he was in the hospital.

Stan was driving the old truck, one hand loose on the wheel. He was grinning at Kenny through the rear view mirror. Kenny returned the look, before turning to hear the argument currently going on.

Kyle had put the back of his seat down. His belt was off, and he was on his knees, nose to nose with Cartman. They were glaring at each other, insults growled softly between them. It was much quieter than their usual arguments, and Kenny really wanted to know what the fuck was going on.

Kyle was eventually shoved back, his body thumping into the dash. He yelped, foot getting caught in his seat belt. Cartman laughed, leaning forward to tell Stan where he wanted to go.

Over Kyle's shouting, Stan couldn't hear. He cast one last glance at the empty streets, before turning around to get Cartman to repeat himself.

They ran a stop sign, none of them even noticing the Cheesy Poof transport truck until it hit them. Kyle had let out a startled cry, him and Cartman being crushed by the metal of the truck as it caved in. The truck turned over, and all Kenny could see was Kyle's scared face before his world went black.

Kenny leapt off the bed, IV ripping out of his arm. He ignored the sting of pain, rushing into the hall. "Kyle?!" He shouted, shoving open the door to the room beside his.

Randy and Sharon stood by the window, eyes on the falling snow. Randy's eyes were red and watery, and for some reason Kenny didn't think it was the alcohol this time. He lowered his eyes to Sharon's hand, clutched tightly around a familiar hat, as the woman turned to face him.

She burst into tears.

Kenny backed out of the room, bumping into Doctor Mason. His eyes searched the guarded gaze of the medical man, finding nothing. "Doc-"

"You should go sit down son." He said evenly, voice only wavering at the end. He kept his stare slightly above Kenny's head. If he looked at the boy it would all come out.

And suddenly Kenny knew. He knew that he wouldn't be seeing Stan, Kyle or Cartman again. His legs gave out, and he hit the ground with a soft thud, wishing suddenly that when that truck hit them he had died...

And stayed dead.
