It was a stupid fight, it shouldn't have transpired in the first place. And here you are drunk enough to not be able to walk properly yet sober enough to feel the pain. "Well it sure looked like you were enjoying yourself with him." "Alex, he offered to buy me a drink and I said yes. And you haven't asked me to be your girlfriend or anything, I am still single." You knew right there you should just man up and ask her, but your typical fashion you shied away from committing to anything. "Why don't you go back to that fuck face then." As soon as the words came out, you regretted them. "Fine." And with that she was gone. You look at the clock and it reads 2:00am, you start to feel a panic wash over you. You dial Piper's number numerous times while pacing your apartment. No answer. The clock now reads 3:00 am and you can't sit there anymore, you need to find her and fix this.

You go to her apartment that she shares with her friend Polly and knock at the door. You are presented with a very pissed off Polly and the news that she hasn't come home all night and to check a couple of the local bars. "If she's dead it's on you supercunt." She shoots before shutting the door. With new determination you head to the first bar. No sign of her anywhere here. You go to the next one, again she isn't there but the man who bought her a drink was there. You approach him menacingly "Have you seen Piper around?" He looks at you quizzically, you huff impatiently "Tall, blonde, blue eyes, you bought her a drink earlier?" "Ohhh her, uh she was in here a little while ago and had a couple drinks with me before saying she needed some air, I tried to get her to come back to my place with me but she refused. A real bummer." It takes a lot for you not to hit him right there but you have more important issues to attend to right now. You walk out after muttering a quick and forced "thanks" before setting about to find the blonde again.

You stand there in on the sidewalk for a moment trying to think where she could be, when it hits you. "I love this park, I always come here if I ever need to get some air. It's just super calming, you know?" Sure enough that's where you find her, laying on a bench staring up at the stars deep in thought. You sit on the grass next to the bench, leaning your back against it. You both sit silence for a while just staring at the starry sky. "I wasn't expecting you to come." she said breaking the silence. "I wasn't either." you reply with a slight chuckle. "Listen Piper, I'm new to this whole relationship thing, I don't know the rules." now she's facing you "Well that's the problem isn't it, rules aren't any fun." You can't help but to let out a little grin and agree. You notice the sun is just starting to come up. "You look exhausted, wanna come over?" she smiles and agrees, while walking down the street you she links your hands together, grinning you give her hand a gentle squeeze as you continue to your home.

It's not too often that you find yourself in bed with a beautiful woman, fully clothed. That's one ways you find yourself falling for this one.
