After The Funeral

"Where were you Booth?" Temperance exclaimed.

"I... I'm sorry..."

"Look... this was important to me, so if you want forgiveness, you can explain." Temperance said, putting her hands on her hips.

Booth cleared his throat, "Fine. Let's go to Sid's."

At Sids

"Speak. Booth." She said, sharply.

"My, my aren't we feisty? Look, Ortega had a hit out on you so I took a little trip."

"Oh God! You didn't kill him, did you!?"

"No, but I threatened to if he ever did it again." Booth chuckled.

"Thank you." She said.

"You're welcome." He replied grinning.

They were the only one in there so Sid turned on the radio. A Jazz song was playing.

Booth extended his hand and Temperance took it. He wrapped his arms around her waist and she wrapped hers around his neck.

"I love this kind of music. It's so beautiful." She whispered.

"Not as beautiful as you." Booth said and reached up, tucking a loose piece of hair behind her ear. She just stood there; swaying in his arms, drunk in his eyes. He leaned forward and whispered, "Happy Valentine's Day Bones."

And he kissed her, it was sweet and tender and full of a loving promise of what was to come. They just got lost in it and melted into each other's arms. When they seperated, no one said a thing. They just stayed there, swaying to the music.

Finally Booth spoke, "Wanna go for a walk?"

"Sure." She said giving him that smile.

They walked outside, it was beautiful and clear. Millions of stars shown over head. It was kind of chilly, though and Temperance began to shiver. Booth slid his coat onto her shoulders and pulled her close. She rested her head on his shoulder. They walked over to the bench and sat down.

"I love you." Temperance said.

"I love you too." Booth smiled.

The Next Day At Work

Temperance, Angela, Zack and Hodgins were going over a skeleton when Booth walked in.

"Hello Seeley." Angela said.

"Hey Ang." He said, walking over to Temperance and whispering in her ear. She grinned an nodded.

Booth walked away.

"What was that all about!?" Angela asked.

"Nothing." Temperance grinned.

A/N: I warned you it was bad. I wrote this over three years ago! I was fourteen. I didn't know what the hell I was doing! God. LOL!
