"House!" Cuddy deftly caught the rubber ball that House had been thudding against the wall of his office for the past quarter of an hour.

"Mooommm, gimme my ball back!" House whined, making a half-hearted grab for it.

"I need to borrow Chase and Foreman for a few hours. There's been a multiple car pile-up and the ER is short-staffed."

House recoiled in horror. "Don't leave me alone with only Cameron's theories to ridicule! All that morality in one room will stifle me!"

"Then I'll take Cameron as well."

"Didn't your mommy teach you to play nice and share with the other children?"

"Put it this way," Cuddy said dryly, turning to leave, "I'm taking your team."

House looked pious. "You can take my team, but you can never take my freedom."

Cuddy checked her watch. "Yes I can. You're on for clinic duty."

Ignore the complete lack of a plot in this - I just thought it was funny. I think I wrote it intending to expand on it, but I never did, so I'm just posting this snippet up for people to amuse themselves with (blame my sister, she was all like POST IT POST IT). I can really imagine this scene happening in the show ;D
