I WAS A CITY GIRL, so naturally I missed the blinking lights and never-closing stores in the city ever since mom thought it was an excellent idea to move to a smaller town. Twilight Town. It's really different from where I came from. The neon lights and music blasting everywhere, even when it was way past midnight. The city was restless, and always has been.

Since I was a city girl, everyone at my new high school saw me as the freak that came from a completely different place. Almost all the kids there had grown up with each other since they were kids. I ended up getting detention the first day of school for kicking a guy where it hurts because he wouldn't stop bugging me about being the newbie there. Hey, that would be what you would do for me.

I guess I sort of creeped all the other kids out after that they woud avoid me and things like that. My sister, Olette, had it easy. She was still a freshman and didn't act like a city girl. In fact, she has friends that treat her like they have known her forever. Depressed me a little. Ollie really fits in here at Twilight Town, but she stuck out lie a sore thumb back in the city.

After a while, I decided that I wouldn't embrace the small, downtown ways of Twilight Town. I decided that I would shun everything that reminded me that I wasn't in the city anymore. I guess it was a bit harsh but I was young, you really can't blame me for acting on impulse.

As usual, got into detention for no reason what-so-ever because Mr Johnson just liked sending people to detention. He was the oldest teacher ont he campus, at least sixty years old. I ended up being bored and doodling on a piece of paper when a boy came up to me and whispered, "Hey, want to go see the sunset?"

I've seen the sunset before in the city it was always a pale peach color with the blue sky slowly dimming away, but when I tried to tell him no thanks, he just grabbed my hand and dragged me up the stairs to the roof. That unset was definitely worth it though.

It wasn't just boring old orange. There was red, pink, white, grey and even purple, pretty amazing really. Wonder why I never noticed? Oh, yeah, went home and shut myself in my room until it was dark. The boy, a blond, wouldn't say why he dragged me up there that day, but I could almost guess why.

"Maybe I'll make an exception." I told myself that day, and I did.

So there you have it, how I met my one true love/soulmate, Roxas, and hope you write back soon. Looking forward to seeing you again someday, Yuffie!

With love,
Aerith

P.S: Don't believe in whatever Sora has to say. No, I don't have seven kids, no, Roxas is not part of the Mafia, and as for Roxas tragically dying in an accident? Where did you hear that from?
P.P.S: Say hi to Leon for me.
P.P.P.S: If this somehow gets published in a book, you are so dead.

foot-notes: another fifteen minute project, cause, erm, it's roxith day... i'll revise it when i can.
