Okay, so while writing the next chapter for my other story, this idea came to me…….I seem to get the best ideas for other things, when I should be focusing…….hence, my slipping biology grade………lol, so, on with the story….
Reneesme sat thinking, Jacob right next to her, as always.
She was reflecting on the facts about her life. Nothing about her was normal. Nothing at all.
Currently residing on her list of her abnormalities were:
Her soul mate morphed into a giant dog
She lived in a house full of people who heard EVERYTHING she did
Her father knew everything she thought about her boyfriend, and her boyfriend about her.
She could transmit her thoughts
Her soul mate was her mother's sloppy seconds
And finally,
Her name
It was like, seriously, did her parents never even think about the consequences of having a half-vampire and half-human child? She couldn't stand the fact that she had absolutely NO chance of normality in her life. And through all of this, her parents weren't even sane enough to give her a normal name. The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. Why? Why couldn't her parents have both been human? Or at least give her a human name?
Just then, Edward walked in with his arm around Bella. He almost instantly sensed her anger, and it showed on his face. Reneesme instantly blocked her thoughts, so he couldn't tell the reasoning.
"Reneesme, what's wrong hon?" Edward asked, looking confused. Jacob looked at his soul mate, and she squeezed his hand.
"What's wrong? WHATS WRONG? I'LL TELL YOU WHATS WRONG! i AM A FIVE YEAR OLD WHO LOOKS EIGHTEEN WITH A WEREWOLF BOYFRIEND WHO USED TO BE OBSESSED WITH MY MOM, A VAMPIRE VERSION OF THE BRADYBUNCH, MY FATHER HEARS EVERYTHING WE THINK ABOUT EACH OTHER, CAUSING SOME SERIOUS AKWARD MOMENTS, MY PARENTS ARE VAMPIRES, I AM A HALF-BREED, AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF, EVEN KNOWING HOW STRANGE I WOULD BE, MY PARENTS WOULDN'T EVEN GIVE ME THE LUXERY OF A NORMAL NAME!" Reneesme ended her little tirade with a huff, and made a move to storm out.
She walked over to a closed door leading to a down-stairs hallway, and opened it. The entire family, sans Carlisle, fell onto the floor in front of her and everyone, except her and Carlisle burst out laughing.
Reneesme just stood there glaring, while Carlisle walked past the door, mumbling something about the family needing lobotomies and shock therapy.
