Do I believe…

A/N ok so this is my second story hope you like ppl check my first story out "would he ever be hers?"

Do I believe in love…

…yes.

Do I believe in friendship…

…yes.

Do I believe in forever…

…yes.

Do I believe in spirits…

…No, no I don't believe in spirits…

But I believe in floorboards creaking, and sudden cold draughts and howling sounds when the wind whistles through the trees, because when you live in an old 1900's house like Forestwood, these things are part of the package.

I have always lived in Forestwood since I was born, mum came to live here 8 months before she met dad and 1 ½ years before my big brother Alex was born because nana Kendall died before I was born and granddad Paddy re-married AGAIN, to his friend of many years Kate, who he ended up having a affair with when he WAS STILL MARRIED to grandma Kendall.

Him and his new wife my step nana-Kate wanted to go live in some town called Kerry in the north of Ireland I think mum said it was. But grandpa Paddy didn't want to sell the family home as it had been in Grandma Kendall's family for years, so he gave its to his eldest his one and only daughter my mother Alexis. Forestwood is a big 1900's house just a 5 minute walk from the beach and to me, it's a beautiful wonderland of heave.

Some people think it's a bit spooky as there are lots of rumour's about the house going around - and I guess I can see why people thin that. The house actually looks like it could be a bit haunted. Ivy clings to the thin brown fence that is leaning up the bright white walls and the windows are big with French doors, people in our village say they can see a couple watching them with a pale sad eye shadowed face from the past when they come to visit us.

The sort of thing you expect to read about in books - where the clock strikes midnight and you wake up to people walking right through you as if your not there.

I always wish for something like that to happen to me, I always wanted to step into the past, see it all for myself, I've grown up listening to stories about spirits, spent summer with my sisters and brothers hunting for spooky visions and ghostly apparitions…but I have never seen one in my life.
