Janet woke, the sun hitting her face through the gap in the curtains. She smiled to herself at the dream she'd just been having, but then she felt the soft, warm arm around her waist and remembered – Sam was really here, and really wanted her. She rolled onto her back and turned to look at Sam's face; her blond hair was messy and adorable, and she couldn't help reaching a hand up to touch her cheek. Sam roused enough to pull Janet closer and kissed her forehead.
"Good morning, you," she said sleepily. "What time is it?"
Janet rolled onto her side to face Sam. "No idea, Major," she smiled. She snuggled closer to Sam and put her arms around her, then kissed the end of her nose. "You want me to go make you some coffee?" she offered.
"Not yet… stay here with me for a few more minutes," Sam murmured, her eyes still closed but a slight smile playing on her lips. "…so warm and soft; I need to cuddle you a little more. I've been woefully deprived of your cuddles for far too long."
Janet giggled and kissed Sam gently. "Ok, a few more minutes, but Cassie will be up soon." She kissed her again, this time a little longer, and Sam hugged her tighter. Janet ran her hands through Sam's hair as their kiss deepened, and just as Sam was about to allow her restless hands to start wandering the doctor's body, they heard Cassie moving around upstairs.
Sam groaned and rolled onto her back for a few moments, covering her face with her hands, then smiled and reluctantly said, "Guess it's that time, then. I'll go start some coffee; you take your time getting up. We're going to have a busy day." She kissed Janet quickly, then once more for good measure, and rolled out of the bed.
