Chihiro Fujisaki let out an agitated sigh. Despair had always been there for him. When the kids at school made fun of him for being the smallest and quietest, despair was his only friend. All he wants is for these other students of Hope's Peak Academy to learn to love despair, and they want to escape it? How annoying.
He sat at his computer, which he had finished designing a portable remote control for Monobear on, so he wouldn't have to go hours and hours without an alibi during the day, hiding out in some dusty control room. "Which one will snap first?" he asked to no one in particular. Perhaps it will be the big, strong girl, Oogami-san. Or maybe it will be Togami-san, he must be desperate to get back to controlling the world that doesn't exist anymore. Or maybe it will be Maizono-san, the cutesy girl that no one would ever suspect. Either way, it really didn't matter. He didn't care, as long as it was someone with the guts to commit a murder. It was a couple more minutes until Night Time was over, so he opened up Alter Ego to kill time.
"It's almost time. Have you finished burning the motive videos onto the disks?" he typed to his digital clone. Alter Ego was wearing a dark smirk on his face, a look he would never show to anyone else. "Ready, Master. I think these will be VERY effective". His head started bouncing around the screen. "If I had legs, they would be shaking with excitement! It's finally here, Master! The time we have been planning for, for so, so long!". Chihiro waved goodbye, turned off his laptop, closed it up, and walked over to the mirror in his bathroom. He quickly checked that he wasn't acting excited, sweating, shaking, or smiling. There were small tears of joy forming at the corners of his eyes, so he wiped them away. Once he made sure his body language was completely normal, he picked up his computer, opened the door, and began making his way for the Dining Hall.
The wheels of Despair were now in motion.
