There's a Feeling Inside

Disclaimer: I own nothing, just the storyline.

Author's Note: Hi Everybody! This story is a short one. I'm always thinking about those three seconds, when she lays her head down onto his shoulder. What was on her mind? She just wanted to relax a bit or that was a deliberate action? She wanted to hear that question to finally end her sufferings? But why was she so surprised? So my opinion is, that she laid her head down instinctively… I think it's a relevant question. Here's my version… Read it and share your opinion.

Only two and a half days left 'till the wedding and everything was on the bum.

Clarisse was extremely tired. Tired of the last few weeks' events and her life.

She had to organize the wedding, select the appropriate music, choose the right decoration, make up the guest list, and prepare everything for Mia. She had a thousand things to do, but her mind was somewhere else…

Yes, beside her duties, she had another duty… a duty to herself. And that problem was bigger than all the others were. She had to choose between duty and love. Give up everything she has ever learnt and let something new into her life. She was at a crossroads. But that was too much for her, she was deathly tired and lost. She needed a little time, a little break, before she is going mad.

So she pushed the button on the CD player, and the music immediately filled the air…

And she started to dance…

She was in another world. She imagined that Joseph is dancing with her, just the two of them in the empty ballroom to the sweet music…

And at that moment her dream suddenly came true. She was in Joseph's arms. Clarisse didn't know how did it happen, but it didn't matter. That was exactly what she needed. Run away from this world, and find a place, where she could relax a bit… Relax and ease just for a few moments. As she looked into his smiling eyes, she was immediately happier. She could see the love in his eyes, the love what she felt inside. His eyes were smiling, his arms held her tight and his shoulders were so inviting. Suddenly she felt her head was heavy like a stone, and the tiredness possessed her. She closed her eyes and laid her head onto his shoulder. That was a perfect place, like in heaven. She just needed a few moments close to him, just inhale his scent and feel his warm body against hers. Just relax in his arms, where she was in safe and peace. Feel his skin against her face and feel his warm breath on her neck. She just wanted to melt into him. Feel him last time, before… before she will lose him forever. She just wanted to feel his closeness once more. She just wanted to snuggle up to him. She needed this more than ever in her life. Feel him, smell him, and… take a mental note… to remember him, when she will be alone and lonely with the whole world against her. HER whole world against her…

Yes, she knew what is waiting for her, she got used to it, but she never got used to it too. She didn't want to think, just lose herself in his arms once more, so she snuggled up to him instinctively. That was a hunch. The most basic hunch. To love someone and feel the other's love. She wanted this desperately, just lose herself in him, but fate didn't let it. He asked something.

"Have you been thinking about us?"

And suddenly everything was over…

The End

Author's Note: Thanks for reading. Well? What's your opinion about that three seconds?

(Isn't it the best film in the whole world? Honestly?)
