Chapter One Pilot Part 1
When she woke up, she saw that she was in a cream colored room with a bathroom, a kitchen and a bed.
She slowly got off the bed and went to the bathroom to wash her face. She had caramel colored skin, brown eyes and long black hair that was in a messy bun.
She looked at herself in the mirror, washed her face and took a shower.
When she got out of the bathroom she put on a towel and went to her suitcase to pick out an outfit.
She put on a blue shirt and a light blue skirt. She then went to the bathroom to put on makeup and to fix her hair.
She fixed her hair into a braid and got her purse and car keys and left her hotel room.
When she got to her car she drove until she could find somewhere to buy coffee. Then, she stopped at a place called 'The Lima Bean' and entered the Café. She walked to the counter and waited until someone came.
"Hello! Welcome to 'The Lima Bean'! What would you like?" Said the man behind the counter. He had light blue eyes and light brown hair.
"I would like a Cappuccino, please." She said quietly.
"Okay! That would be five dollars!" Said the man.
She gave him the five dollars with a small smile and took the Cappuccino.
"Thank you!" She said quietly before walking out of 'The Lima Bean'.
She got to her car took a sip of her Cappuccino and drove to William McKinley High School where she would start her first day as a Guidance Counselor
When she got out of her car she grabbed her purse and walked to the entrance of the school.
When she came in inside there were many students walking past her and talking to their friends. She then walked to Principal Figgins's office and knocked on the door.
"Come in!" Said a man on the other side of the door.
She opened the door and saw Principal Figgins looking at her.
"Hello, sir." She said quietly to him.
"Hello! Please sit down, miss…" Said Principal Figgins, forgetting her name.
"Rosalie Bonilla." She said while taking a seat in one of the chairs.
"Yes… You're the new Guidance Counselor." Said Principal Figgins while searching through the documents on his desk.
"Yes." Rosalie responded while looking at her hands.
"Our last Guidance Counselor lasted a week, I hope you last more than that!" Said Principal Figgins giving her a paper that had all of the rooms of the school.
"I suggest to go to the staffroom and meet your coworkers." Said Principal Figgins while shaking her hand.
"Where is the staffroom?" Rosalie asked while looking at him and shaking his hand and giving him a small smile.
"The room is at the end of the hallway, Miss Bonilla." Said Principal Figgins giving her a smile and letting go of her hand.
"Thank you, sir." Rosalie said quietly before getting up and going to the staffroom.
When she walked into the staffroom, she saw that three people were in a conversation. One of them was a woman that had a tracksuit on and had short blond hair and the other two were men. One had curly brown hair and had a vest on and the other one had black hair.
"Well, hello there, Newbie," Said the blond woman with fake kindness. "I'm Sue Sylvester. You must be…"
"I'm Rosalie Bonilla, the new Guidance Counselor." Rosalie said giving her a small smile.
The two other men got up looked at her and the one with curly brown hair shook her hand.
"I'm Will Schuester. I teach Spanish. Sue coaches the Cheerios and this is Ken Tenaka, the Football coach. Welcome to McKinley, Rosalie." Said the man while giving her a smile.
"Thank you. Do any of you happen to know where room 24B is?" Rosalie asked while giving them a small smile.
"I do. I can take you there." Will said.
"Oh, okay. Thank you. It was nice to meet you all." Rosalie said quietly while Will took her out of the room and out to the hallway.
"So, Rosalie, are you new to Lima?" Will asked her while they walked to her office.
"Yeah, this is my first day." Rosalie said quietly.
"Here we are!" Will said suddenly stopping them.
"Thank you for helping me." Rosalie said quietly.
"It's no problem. If you want we can talk during lunch." Will said giving her a smile.
"Okay!" Rosalie said while giving him a small smile.
"See you soon, Rosalie!" Will said as he left to go to his class.
When she walked into her office she saw that it was completely empty except for a desk, three chairs and a box with a sign that said 'Miss Rosalie Bonilla'. She took the sign and put it outside. She looked at her office and put a small smile on her face. It was better than nothing.
She then spent the rest of the morning decorating her office. She put a plant in the corner and found a few pamphlets, so she put them infront of her office in an empty table that she found.
Rosalie waited until lunch and no one came so she got her purse and left the room. When she was going to leave the school to eat lunch someone stopped her.
"Rosalie!" Will said while giving her a smile. "There you are!"
"Were you trying to find me?" She asked quietly while giving him a small smile.
"Yeah, I said that we should talk during lunch, so I came." Will said. "Do you have lunch?"
"Erm… No." She said quietly while looking at the floor.
"That's okay! We can share mine!" Will said giving her a smile when she looked at him.
"Okay. Where should we go?" Rosalie asked giving him a small smile.
"My car?" Will suggested.
"Okay." Rosalie said looking at him.
Then, they walked to his car.
"Welcome to my car!" Will said giving her a smile.
For the first time she came to Lima she laughed. She then got into the front seat when he opened the door for her.
"So, how long have you been married?" Rosalie asked when he got in the car.
"Oh, I'm so sorry." Rosalie said quietly with a frown.
"It's okay!" Will said quickly when he saw her frown. "I met my wife when we were in high school. We actually studied here. Her name's Terri."
"Okay" Rosalie said quietly while giving him a small smile.
"Here. You need to eat something." Will said while offering her a piece of his Sandwich. They are in silence until Will broke it.
"Did you know that the Glee club needs a new coach?" Will asked her while giving her a smile.
"Really?" Rosalie asked, interested.
"Yeah, I'm thinking of coaching it." Will said.
"In high school I wanted to be in glee, but I was too shy, so I never auditioned." Rosalie said quietly giving him a small smile.
"Really?" Will asked her while looking at her.
"Yeah." Rosalie responded while giving him a small smile.
"Why are you so shy?" Will asked, but when he asked he immediately regretted it.
"I'm so sorry!"
"It's okay!" Rosalie said quietly looking at him.
"When I was barely a week old, my mom left me and my dad. Then, when I was seven, my dad passed away because of a brain tumor. After that a nice family adopted me. But, growing up without my parents made me have low self-esteem. Then after I graduated, my adoptive family passed away in a car accident." Rosalie said the last part in a whisper and she didn't realize that she had been crying the whole time.
"I'm so sorry for asking, Rosalie." Will said when he saw that she was crying. He then gave her a paper that he had.
"It's okay. You're the first person I've told that to." Rosalie said to him giving him a small smile and then she wiped her eyes. "We have to get back to the school."
"Oh, right." Will said giving her a small smile and getting out of the car to open her car door.
"Thank you, Will." Rosalie said quietly and then she left to the school.
Will then looked at her leaving and then he felt like a jerk. He had only known her for a day and he already screwed up their friendship.
When Rosalie reached her hotel room, she was too tired to even go out and find food, so she was going to order room service.
Then, she took a shower, put on some shorts and a shirt and ordered room service. Then, she noticed that someone was calling her, but she didn't know the number but, she picked up the phone anyway.
"Hello, this is Rosalie Bonilla." She said.
"Hi, Rosalie." Will said through the phone.
" Will? How did you get my number?" Rosalie asked him.
"I checked my phone book, but, I couldn't find your number, so, I asked Figgins." Will responded. "Do you have an apartment?"
"No, there aren't any houses or apartments for sale." Rosalie said while getting up and going to the bathroom.
"Oh, where are you staying then?" Will asked.
"I'm staying at 'Hotel Lima'." Rosalie responded quietly while taking her hair out of a braid and into a ponytail.
"I would ask you if you wanted to stay at my apartment, but Terri would kill me." Will said.
"Will, I have to go. Bye." Rosalie said quietly before hanging up.
She then heard a knock on the door. When she opened it, she saw a cart with a dish on top. Rosalie then took the cart into her room and sat on the bed eating her food.
When Rosalie woke up, she took a quick shower, put on a simple black dress, put her makeup on, and let her hair loose.
She then got to her car, and drove to 'The Lima Bean', where she got a Cappuccino, and then she drove to the high school.
When she got to the high school, she went to her office and saw Will siting on one of the chairs that were in front of her desk.
"Will? What are you doing here?" Rosalie asked him.
"I wanted to tell you something but I couldn't find you so, I came here." Will responded looking at her and giving her a smile.
"What's wrong?" Rosalie said quietly looking at the floor.
"I asked Figgins if I could be the new glee club coach and he said yes!" Will said excitedly.
"Really?!" Rosalie said giving him a big smile.
"Yeah! But he gave me one condition. I have to have a co-coach." Will said looking at her. "And, I have to ask her."
"Who is she" Rosalie asked quietly looking at him.
"You!" Will said.
"Me?" Rosalie asked looking at him with wide eyes.
"Yes, you! If you want you can tell me your answer at lunch." Will said while giving her a smile.
"O...o…okay." Rosalie said quietly before looking at the floor.
"See you at lunch, Rosalie." Will told her before leaving to go to his classroom.
She made sure he left before going to her desk, sitting on her chair and opening one of the drawers, and taking out an old photo of a small family. She looked at it and almost started to cry, but she put it back in its drawer before starting her day.
At lunch, Rosalie decided to listen to some music, so she put her earphones on and headed to her car, when someone walked to her.
"Rosalie! Do you have lunch?" Will asked her when he found her.
Rosalie took off her earphones, shook her head and said:
"I've made my decision, though."
"Really? What is it?" Will asked her while taking them to his car.
"Yes." Rosalie said simply while Will opened the car door for her.
"Really?" Will asked when he got into the car.
"Yeah. I need to get out of my shell, so maybe this can help me." Rosalie responded with a small smile.
"Okay! Do you know how to sing?" Will asked while looking at her, with a big smile on his face.
"Yeah, but I've never sang infront of anyone before." Rosalie replied looking at her hands.
"If you want, you can pick a song." Will said.
"Okay. Do you know Breathe (2 AM)?" Rosalie asked him.
"Yeah, is that the song you picked?" Will asked her.
"Yes." Rosalie responded.
"Let me put it on." Will said while putting the song on the radio that was on the car.
Then, Rosalie started singing when the music started.
(Breathe (2AM) by Anna Nalick starts)
Rosalie: 2 AM and she calls me 'cause I'm still awake,
"Can you help me unravel my latest mistake?
I don't love him. Winter just wasn't my season."
Yeah we walk through the doors, so accusing their eyes
Like they have any right at all to criticize.
Hypocrites, you're all here for the very same reason
'Cause you can't jump the track, we're like cars on a cable
And life's like an hourglass, glued to the table
No one can find the rewind button, girl.
So cradle your head in your hands
And breathe... just breathe,
Oh breathe, just breathe
May he turn 21 on the base at Fort Bliss
Just today he sat down to the flask in his fist,
Ain't been sober, since maybe October of last year.
Here in town you can tell he's been down for a while,
But, my God, it's so beautiful when the boy smiles,
Wanna hold him. Maybe I'll just sing about it.
'Cause you can't jump the track, we're like cars on a cable,
And life's like an hourglass, glued to the table.
No one can find the rewind button, boys,
So cradle your head in your hands,
And breathe... just breathe,
Oh breathe, just breathe
There's a light at each end of this tunnel,
You shout 'cause you're just as far in as you'll ever be out
And these mistakes you've made, you'll just make them again
If you'd only try turning around.
2 AM and I'm still awake, writing a song
If I get it all down on paper, it's no longer inside of me,
Threatening the life it belongs to
And I feel like I'm naked in front of the crowd
'Cause these words are my diary, screaming out loud
And I know that you'll use them, however you want to
But you can't jump the track, we're like cars on a cable,
And life's like an hourglass, glued to the table
No one can find the rewind button now
Sing it if you understand.
And breathe, just breathe
Whoa breathe, just breathe,
Oh breathe, just breathe,
Oh breathe, just breathe.
"That was incredible, Rosalie!" Will exclaimed while looking at her.
"Thank you." She said quietly while looking at her hands.
"Why are you so nice to me?" She asked him, looking up from her hands.
"Because you're really nice. Why?" Will replied, giving her a smile.
"Usually, when most people see that I have quirks, they ignore me." Rosalie replied looking at her hands again.
"Well, I'm not most people," Will told her. "Tell me about your quirks."
"Well, I can't drink out of cups that other people have drunk from, when I'm really excited I start saying facts, when I'm stressed I start speaking in Spanish and have panic attacks and to calm down I paint," Rosalie said looking at him. " You think I'm a freak, don't you?"
"I don't. I have one question. You can speak Spanish?" Will asked her.
"Yeah, my dad was born and raised in Puerto Rico. My mom was born and raised in the United States. People who knew my parents tell me that I look more like my dad than my mom." Rosalie told him quietly.
"Okay. I put up some sign up sheets, and we have students that put their name there, so we have to go to the auditorium at three." Will said to her.
"Okay, who signed up?" Rosalie asked him.
"There's Rachel Berry, Mercedes Jones, Kurt Hummel, Artie Abrams and Tina Cohen-Chang." Will replied.
"Okay, we have to go." Rosalie told him before opening the door and getting out of the car.
"See you at the auditorium, Rosalie." Will told her before she nodded and left to go to her office.
When they got to the auditorium, they sat down on the seats that were in the middle of the auditorium and called the first person.
"Mercedes Jones!" Will called to the stage. Then she came out to the stage.
"Hello, my name is Mercedes Jones and I will be singing 'Respect' by Aretha Franklin."
(Respect by Aretha Franklin starts)
Mercedes: What you want
Baby, I got it
What you need
Do you know I got it?
All I'm askin'

Sock it to me, sock it to me)

A little respect

(just a little bit)

(re, re, re, re)
Or you might walk in
(respect, just a little bit)
And find out I'm gone
(just a little bit)

(just a little bit)
When Mercedes finished, Rosalie and Will started to applaud.
"That was incredible, Mercedes!" Will said.
Next, was Kurt Hummel, who sang 'Mr Cellophane', and then, Tina Cohen-Chang.
"H..hello, m..m..my name I..s Tina Cohen-Chang, a…and I.. will b..be singing 'I Kissed a Girl' b..by Katy Pe…Perry." She said, while stuttering.
(I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry starts)
Tina: This was never the way I planned, not my intention
I got so brave, drink in hand, lost my discretion
It's not what I'm used to, just wanna try you on
I'm curious for you, caught my attention
I kissed a girl and I liked it
The taste of her cherry chapstick
I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it
It felt so wrong
It felt so right
Don't mean I'm in love tonight
I kissed a girl and I liked it
I liked it
No, I don't even know your name, it doesn't matter
You're my experimental game, just human nature
It's not what good girls do, not how they should behave
My head gets so confused, hard to obey
I kissed a girl and I liked it
The taste of her cherry chapstick
I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it
It felt so wrong
It felt so right
Don't mean I'm in love tonight
I kissed a girl and I liked it
I liked it
Us girls we are so magical
Soft skin, red lips, so kissable
Hard to resist, so touchable
Too good to deny it
Ain't no big deal, it's innocent
I kissed a girl and I liked it
The taste of her cherry chapstick
I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it
It felt so wrong
It felt so right
Don't mean I'm in love tonight
I kissed a girl and I liked it
I liked it
"That was amazing!" Will told her, before she left the stage.
"Next is Rachel Berry!" Rosalie said loudly, so that she could hear her.
"Hello, I'm Rachel Berry and I'll be singing 'On My Own' from Les Miserables." She told them.
(On My Own from Les Miserables starts)
Rachel: On my own
Pretending he's beside me
All alone
I walk with him 'til morning
Without him
I feel his arms around me
And when I lose my way I close my eyes
And he has found me
In the rain the pavement shines like silver
All the lights are misty in the river
In the darkness the trees are full of starlight
And all I see is him and me forever and forever
And I know it's only in my mind
That I'm talking to myself and not to him
And although I know that he is blind
Still I say, there's a way for us
I love him
But when the night is over
He is gone
The river's just a river
Without him
The world around me changes
The trees are bare and everywhere
The streets are full of strangers
I love him
But every day I'm learning
All my life
I've only been pretending
Without me
His world will go on turning
A world that's full of happiness
That I have never known
I love him
I love him
I love him
But only on my own
Rosalie and Will were so shocked that they only looked at each other and started to applaud.
"That was incredible, Rachel!" Will said before Rachel smiled at them.
"Can all of you come back to the stage?" Rosalie asked them through the mic that was on the desk.
When they all were on the stage, Will started talking to them.
"You're all in!" Will started, while waiting for them to stop talking. "As you know I will be coaching the glee club with-"
"Mr. Shue? Who's she?" Mercedes interrupted, looking at Rosalie.
"She is Ms. Rosalie Bonilla, the new Guidance Counselor." Will told them, while looking at Rosalie.
"Oh, okay! Miss Bonilla?" Mercedes said while looking at Rosalie.
"Yes?" Rosalie said while looking at Mercedes.
"Do you have a nickname? Like Ms. B?" Mercedes asked Rosalie.
"No, I don't think so." Rosalie said while looking at her hands.
"Well, now you do! Its Ms. B!" Mercedes told her.
Rosalie thought for a minute and then she had a big smile on her face.
"I love it!" Rosalie told Mercedes and Mercedes smiled at her.
"Tomorrow, we are going to start with rehearsals at four!" Will told them.
"I can't tomorrow. I have an appointment," Rosalie said to Will. "But, continue without me."
"Okay. Let's meet at the choir room tomorrow at four," Will said. "Time to go!"
When all of the students left, Will walked over to Rosalie, who was packing her things.
"What kind of appointment do you have tomorrow?" Will asked her.
"A doctor's appointment." Rosalie answered quietly before she started walking out of the auditorium.
"Bye, Rosalie!"
On Wednesday, before Rosalie left she told Will that she was leaving early and couldn't come to rehearsals today.
Then, she left for her doctors appointment that was in the next town.
When she arrived at the doctor's, the secretary told her to go in to the doctor's office.
"Hello, Ms Bonilla!" Said the doctor.
She had brown hair that was in a pixie cut, and black eyes.
"Hello, Doctor!" Rosalie told the doctor quietly, while sitting down in one of the seats that were infront of the desk.
"Lets start with the test results, first." Doctor Spring said to Rosalie.
