Prologue
New Midgar, an obelisk if iron and poverty, painted in the 'perfect' image of success by its maker, President Rufus. New Midgar was gargantuos in size, roughly three times bigger than the ancient ruin which was Old Midgar.
Despite this, New Midgar was nearly identical to the old model, except it had a massive difference. The reactors no more pumped out what it used to, and instead were used as production lines and factories for militia purposes. President Rufus could take no more precautions since the last two 'incidents'.
Despite all these changes, people still lived in fear and many people still lived under the plate and in Old Midgar. In the centre of the top plate, the main building of Shinra stood firm, surrounded by high-tech defensive equipment. The all new building was chrome plated, shiny, sleek, 'sexy', the architect had made sure it showed off his 'prestige and stylishness.
On the top floor of the building was Rufus's massive office, it was filled with the paintings and clad with stone architecture. At the far end of the office was a lavish oak, sat in front of a massive window which overlooked the 'beauty' which was New Midgar. President Rufus often stood at the window overlooking his kingdom; he did suck on this occasion.

The moonlit shone down on to New Midgar, illuminating the surface and reflecting of the Beast (the 'street name' for the Shinra building). There were no clouds and little wind, a peaceful night which was well deserved after their troubles in the past. Rufus stood in his silver coat at the edge of his window, admiring his presence in New Midgar. Suddenly there was a knock at the door; Rufus tilted his head to the side so that out the corner of his eye he could see the door.
"It's open!" he shouted
The door swung open and in waltzed Tseng in flash, black, sleek suit which made him look 'sexy'. He walked up to Rufus's desk and stopped, he knew he needed confirmation to speak.
"Speak" Rufus told him.
"Sir the operation was a success, everything went perfectly…"
"However?"
"Well sir, the components in the lifestream extract seemed to blend with his remains all too well. Don't get me wrong sir, he looks exactly the same but he 'feels' different." As he said this Rufus turned around and raised his eyebrow.
"What do you mean 'feels' different?"
"Well…"
"Have you been feeling him up Tseng?"
"What!" Tseng shouted, obviously hurt by this slanderous accusation.
"Well I'm only saying"
"That's not what I meant SIR!"
"Suuuuuurrrreeee" Rufus managed to squeeze out as he chuckled, obviously having fun mixing Tseng's words around.
"Sir, I still don't know why we need him back?"
" We need him back Tseng because we need more income, profits and besides, I think a crazed scientist back in our team would boost our 'craziness' as Rufus spoke this, Tseng raised his eyebrow.
"Right sir"
"Is he here Tseng?"
"Well… yes sir"
"Then bring him in then"
"Hojo!" Tseng shouted
After Tseng had shouted; in walked Hojo in his white lab coat and circular glasses, mumbling to himself and twitching his hands. He looked around the room and muttered under his breathe as he walked to Rufus and Tseng. He stopped next to Tseng and looked at the floor.
"Anything to say Hojo?" Rufus asked as he continued to look at the floor.
Then there was silence and Hojo continued to look at the floor, ignoring Tseng and Rufus.
"Well obviously you need to rest so I'll fill you in. I resurrected you because I need you to make some money for my company among other things like militia purposes. Any questions?" after Rufus spoke this, Hojo's head turned up as he looked at Rufus.
"Where's my son".
