When someone says werewolf, people would think of a human with an ability to change into a wolf, either by a curse or an affliction. It always a man transforming into a disgusting beast. MEN! Yet, I know better than anyone else! My clan name is the Graypelts. My ancestors migrated from France to Canada then to America to eventually join the local pack there. Of course there is hierarchy in my pack to make sure everyone is doing their part.

We have the Alphas, the wisest and strongest wolves in the pack. Their duties are leading the packs into hunts, when we are in our private territory, establishing territories, leading the pack in the right direction, making sure our existence is kept secret, and has the rightful decision to who can be in the pack or not.

Betas are second in command, always making sure the pack are organized and safe. Anything that occurs in the pack, Betas are to report to the Alpha, so they can take control.

Delta, third in command, take control of the training and the sparring. Then we have the Lead Warrior, the wolf taking orders from the Alphas or Beta. They are the captain of the warriors inthe pack, ready to protect the pack with their lives, usually go on border patrol, and bring any new wolf to their leaders. Scouters are wolves who look for new territories, or track down any enemies.

Hunters gather food for the pack and if there are people or other wolves that are threatening the pack, they take on the role of "decoys" till the pack has found safety. With the knowledge of medicine, Healers are wolves that have the ability to heal wolves with their knowledge. Finally,

Omega are the caretakers of the pack, before they had no rights and were the last ones to feed or get any benefit from the pack. However, everything change when humans start to go to wars and we, wolves, had less warriors to protect the pack. Now, Omegas take care of the children and the elderly. They teach the young how to shift properly, teaching them humans' and wolves' social skills.

I was born from a Lead Warrior and a normal human. My father is the normal human in this relationship. To his horror, my mother bore three daughters, since ninety-eight percent of werewolves are female and two percent are males. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, lycanthrope is genetically inherited. It is rare for someone to become a wolf if they do not have the blood for it. My sisters and I are all werewolves or should I say she-wolves.I can't wait to raise my rank and be an Alpha. When a wolf becomes an Alpha, they can move away from the pack to start a new one. I long for my own pack and grow it like Nana. But first, I need to wait and hone my skills.
