Worth of a life

A/N: Okay, I was watching "Sometime a Great Nation", and I just had to do it, I had too. This is going to be AU, and deffinantly a major crossover, you'll find out why, and this story, and any possible/requested sequals, will NOT be posted in the crossover section.

Disclaimer: Wow, I'm finally doing a proper disclaimer again, this is like, AMAZING. Any who, BSG is owned by SYFY, and whomever else is involved. The crossover universe, won't be disclaimed until it actually appears. I DO however own the plot, any OC's, and any random other little things that I decide to throw in. I will however stick as close to base line cannon as I can, such as shape of the Battlestar Galactica, and names and other things like that, and yada, yada, yada, etc., etc., etc.,

Lee ran from the landing deck to where he'd last left Dee, he knew that look in her eye, he knew that look from so many people before, people he would never forget, and would honor them, till the day the god's granted him final respite from war, machines, and the pain that had been his for so so many long years. He kept running through multiple halls and corridors he'd once called home, never once thinking to stop when his dress shoes started to strip themselves, he'd never felt comfortable in them anyway. As he ran through the halls he flashed back to a pivotal moment he'd never forget. Not ALL the machines he'd meet were bad, nor did they try to kill him.

"Slow DOWN!" General Lee "Apollo" Adama yelled after his commander as they ran through the smoke and haze filled corridors underground, leading up, up toward the battle. "Frakking fast" Lee mumbled as he ran, "MOTHER FUCKER!" he yelled the last out so the man would hear him. Seeing the man pick up speed away from him, Lee shouted, "You get yourself KILLED were ALL FUCKED!" in another half-assed attempt at saving this man's, whom he owed his life too, life. The man was always faster than him though, and ran ahead till Lee couldn't see but a black outline. Then he saw that he was rapidly gaining on the figure, and barely had time to stop before barreling into the man. Catching his breath he stepped in front of the man, "And just what the FUCK do you think your doing by running towards the psychotic machines?" The man just pointed behind him, and Lee turned to see what had this unshakeable man so quiet, he immediately regretted it. Turning around in horror he grabbed the man's shoulder's as he fell to the ground, "Listen, th-that's not right, they will pay for doing THAT to her. But you need to get some fucking sleep John." Worried he saw John's eye's, and felt an extreme sense of dread in his stomach, trouble was coming.

Now as he ran the corridors of the Galactica, Lee's stomach again fell, and that pushed him further, further toward his wife, and further toward some small shread of redemption. Lee "Apollo" Adama vowed to himself that he would NOT loose her, not like he'd lost John.
