Hey everyone! ^.^ My name is narsaksas. I was sitting in math class one day, when I got bored and decided to write this (Sorry Mrs. St. John!) So anyways, here it is! ^.^ Please review but no flames! Disclaimer: I do not own Casper.

It was a dark and dreary day in December. Casper looked out his bedroom window at the snowy landscape two floors below. He tried to remember the last time he had played in the snow, without sadness, or loneliness; care-free and full of life.

However, only vague and fuzzy pieces of memories were all that were left. He floated silently downstairs to begin the tedious task of fixing lunch for his uncles. They ate just about anything, but Casper couldn't help but want to at least try to make it

edible. That was just the kind of ghost he was.

As Casper was preparing the meal, he thought back to happier times when Kat and her dad had been living with them. He had tried even harder to cook delicious meals and keep the ancient house clean and dust-free. Those truly had been the best

of times. He had laughed and had fun; and he had almost forgotten his sadness and the fact that this new found happiness could not last. But Casper wouldn't trade those precious memories for anything on this world. They were some of the only

solid memories he had left. He knew that they would stay with him until he finally left this world, and would be free of this never-ending loneliness, where he could only watch as his friends and just people in general keep moving, while he stands still.

But he had hope in his heart that one day, no matter if it was tomorrow or 100 years in the future, he would be together again with his friends, and they would stay together for all eternity, in never-ending happiness.
