Fairytales Class – Assignment 3
Task: So, your task this week? Your task this week is to write about twins (or triplets, etc)! Easy enough, right? Here's the catch: You may not write about Fred and George. Fred and George are the main set of twins in the story of Harry Potter, and you know me, I'm all about writing about the underdogs. You can make canon characters that are not twins, twins however.

Parvati Patil sighed as she made her way out the main doors of Hogwarts. She was looking for her twin sister and she had a pretty good idea of where she would be. She couldn't help, but smile when she saw that her sister was right where she thought she would be. She made her way over to her twin slowly so that she wouldn't scare the unicorn that was letting Padma pet it. "Are you okay, sis?"
Padma turned her head to look at her sister and gave her a sad smile. "I'm not, but I will be, Parvati. I won't let what Weasley did get to me. I was planning on ending it with him anyways, but I never suspected that he was cheating on me. I just don't know what to do with that or think about it. I'm surprised that you came out to look for me."
Parvati ran a hand through her sister's hair. "You're my twin, Padma, so of course I would come look for you. Besides while Lavender may have been my best friend what she did to you has seen that friendship to its conclusion. I'm not going to choose her or anyone else over you, Padma, and not just because you are my twin. I wouldn't choose anyone over you because we're family and I love you. I won't let her get away with what she has done to you."
Padma couldn't help but smile at that. She leaned against Parvati and put her head on her shoulder as she continued to pet the baby unicorn. She couldn't help, but wonder just how long Ron had been cheating on her. She shook her head to clear it and instead breathed in deeply taking in her twin's scent. She had to admit even if only to herself that just being able to breathe in Parvati's scent helped to calm her chaotic thoughts down. She turned her head and smiled slightly at her sister when she felt her fingers running through her hair. This was another thing that always calmed her down.
She hated that she had thought for even a second that Parvati would choose Lavender over her. She really should have known better, but all that mattered now is that she had her sister by her side because she wouldn't want it any other way. It never mattered what happened to her that made her angry or upset as long as her other half meaning her twin was right by her side. She knew that she could get through everything as long as Parvati was right there to help her. She truly did love her sister like she would never love another person.
After all how could she love anyone like she loves Parvati? She knew that nobody else would ever come close to knowing her as well as her sister did. How could they when both her and Parvati were halves of the same whole?
