She leaned out of the tower staring across the grounds.
She watched the man who looked like the world rested on his shoulders seated by the lake.
She turned swiftly and strode through the castle.
He stared out across the lake, lost in his thoughts; he didn't hear her walk up behind him.
"Stop it"
He didn't need to turn around to see who it was.
"Stop torturing yourself."
"It was my fault; I don't deserve what I got, I killed him in anger, I am a murderer."
"No your not, he got what he deserved, there was no better thing you could have done for this world."
"I could have been here."
"No you couldn't have, I wouldn't have forgiven you if you had."
She sat down and wrapped and arm around his shoulders and kissed his head.
"You were fighting for the world; you have destroyed a greater evil. Armando died and gave you a chance to rid the world of Grindelwald. I love you for that, you are who you are because you did what was right, you have rid this world of evil for now, there will be others but for now we have peace due to you. That's why I love you; you did what no one else could do. Armando would be happy. I know you hate yourself and you wouldn't be half the man you are if you didn't but please stop killing yourself over it."
Her eyes begged.
He sighed and leaned into her.
"Thank-you"
He kissed her and stood up.
"For you I'll stop and I will accept the position but only if my wife agrees."
She allowed him to pull her up and said "I already did"
