A/N: I do NOT own Dalton, Ethan and Evan or Audee. All belong to CP Coulter.
This is just a little Tweedles drabble I wrote the other day. I hope you enjoy!
Evan and Ethan Brightman are always together; never separated for more than 14 minutes since birth. Both with ice blue eyes, and white blond hair, they're identical down to the last freckle. Many think their closeness is unnatural, abnormal, and just plain weird. Doctors, teachers and other adults tell their parents to separate them, but Mr. and Mrs. Brightman are too busy to bother with that, so the twins remain together.
The twins are very affectionate towards each other, holding hands, touching in some way most of the time. When they were younger they held hands so much Audee made a joke about it. They shared beds, books, and they even showered together.
One night when the boys were only thirteen years of age, they lie in bed together. The room was cluttered with books, and nerf bullets, papers and an occasional pile of clothes. In the middle of the room was a king bed, gold sheets of the boy's favorite color. Ethan and Evan had pulled the sheets up, fashioning a fort for them. A small flashlight was propped up in between pillows providing some light for the two. They were clad in identical boxers and the Flash shirts, their bodies pressed close to each other. Their fingers were intertwined, and they weren't speaking. They rarely had to when it was just them alone. Most things that needed to be said could be communicated with a simple touch, a look, and a nod of the head. Evan whispered quietly, for the first time since they laid down, "Ethan, let's never leave each other. Ethan smiled, and touched his twins face. He marveled at his beauty, wondering if he looked as beautiful. "I'll never leave you Ev. Never. I love you more than anything." No more words were needed, and their lips met. It was sweet, full of love and understanding. It was not the first time they had kissed, and neither Ethan nor Evan were ready to finish. When they did though, both were breathing more deeply than before, and a light flush covered both their cheeks. "What if we get married one day? We're love each other, we're like in those movies Audee watches" Evan said quietly, holding his twin close. "Soulmates." Ethan finished, with a smile. Nothing more was said, nothing needed to be. They fell asleep holding each other, dreaming silly nonsense dreams.
Audee walked in later that morning to wake the duo up, and she stopped in the doorway. Inside, Evan and Ethan held each other, still sound asleep. She couldn't bear to break up that cuteness. She walked out their room, shutting the door lightly behind her, smiling largely.
