Sin é, a bhanphrionsa. Is tusa mo bhanphrionsa, an dtuigeann tú.

"Tell me a story." She turned and looked up into Remus's face, smiling. She turned to look back at the lake, her head still resting on his chest. He breathed in deeply, smiling at her.

"Once upon a time..." he started.

"No!" She looked up into his face. For thirteen years he had known her, since they were two, and yet he didn't know what she was about to say. "In Gaelic. Mar sa bhaile."

Although England was now their home, he knew she meant Ireland. That That would forever be home to both of them.

So, he told the story in the Gaelic. "Fadó fadó, bhí banphrionsa álainn ann."

"Banphrionsa." She smiled, her eyes closed, as she spoke.

"Sin é, a bhanphrionsa. Is tusa mo bhanphrionsa, an dtuigeann tú." She looked up at him and smiled.

Shifting her position so she was sitting facing him, she said, "Tuigim, sin é an fáth a bhfuil mé i ngrá leat."

"Tá mise i ngrá leatsa freisin, a bhanphrionsa." She leaned into him so close that by the time he was done they were only inches apart. She kissed his soft lips lightly, then went back to her position she had been in before with her head on Remus's chest. He went back to stroking her hair lightly, smiling with his eyes closed.

Neither saw behind them James Potter watching them, nor heard him stomp off to be the first to report of their secret relationship.
