Kasumi cloaked herself and walked through the ship. She stopped in the cargo bay and hid herself inside the shuttle. The commander was on the Citadel and so the shuttle wasn't going to be used anytime soon. She sat on one of the seats and activated Keiji's gray-box. She could sit for hours and relive the memories. She started to where she had left off before Horizon. She watched as she pushed Keiji onto the bed and pounced. She had loved that man, but Hock had ruined it all. Every single thing that was close to her torn away when Keiji was murdered. She held the gray-box in her hands and stopped watching. She sat there, starring at it for a while. She sighed and laid her head on her knees.
Kasumi was all alone. She had never felt this way when she was with Keiji. Kasumi felt tears run down her cheeks. She starred at the shuttle door and just froze that way. There was nothing left for her to do but be a thief after Shepard was done with her mission. Kasumi lifted her head and starred at her hands. She remembered them being covered in blood as she tried to save her beloved. She felt more tears run down her face. The gunshot was still ringing in her ears.
Kasumi closed her eyes tight and tried to not think about it, but images of Keiji flashed through her mind. She bit her bottom lip and whispered his name. Keiji Okuda. She wiped away her tears and looked at her omni-tool. She looked through it for a picture of the day she loved most. It was nearly a week before he had died.
She had found a ring when she was searching through hiss stuff after his funeral. She had put two and two together.
"Oh god..." Kasumi whispered as her omni-tool faded and she put her head on her knees again. She started to look through the gray-box. Maybe it had the exact answer. Even thou she had looed before maybe she could find something this time. No luck. Kasumi turned it off and tightened her hands into fists. She couldn't stop seeing his blood o her hands and the hearing the gunshot in her ears. The scene played over and over in her head. Kasumi was haunted by Keiji's death. She knew there was no escaping that fact. All she wanted was for him to be back by her side again. Her sweet Keiji, her beloved, all she wanted was him to come back.
"Kasumi." she heard his voice call her name. Kasumi looked up.
"Keiji?" she whispered. She saw the outline of him in front of her.
"Just forget about me," he said. "I want nothing more then you to be happy, my love."
"No! I can't forget, I can's do it. I just love you too much!" she told him but he had started to fade. Kasumi yelled his name, there was no reply. Then Kasumi stopped and lat herself sob. She could never forget the one that she truly, truly love. Even if he was dead and even if he wanted her too.
