A Fallen Angel

By: Durian

When you look at the sky,

You may wonder if heaven lies beyond the blue realms?

Such a place does exist and this is the story of,

A fallen angel.

(-)

She had committed one of devil's crimes, tasting the forbidden fruit.

There was a clear line between a mortal and an immortal,

And she has just crossed it.

She has fallen in love with one of the lower beings.

For this a price must be paid, she stared into the onyx eyes of her executioner,

Pleading for a second chance with her tear filled eyes.

He wouldn't look twice at her; the dark robed man had no heart.

No mercy was given as he cast a spell on her,

Stripping the halo off her head,

In this instance, her pink hair fluttered to all sides.

(-)

All this for a man, was it worth it?

"Yes," she cried, "It was better to have loved and be loved,

Than to not have been loved at all!"

That moment, her wings were pulled slowly away from her.

The pain was hellish, but it was worth it.

(-)

Her dilapidated body floated sullenly to the arms of her lover,

A young blond haired man with sea blue eyes.

Whom she pledged to stay with, he was her guardian angel.

The fire and courage in his eyes attracted her,

She'd never forget how he had taken care of her,

When an arrow was shot to her wings.

He took her in and bandaged her wounds.

He showed her the wonders of this world,

And made beautiful love to her late at night,

She'd always remember the sweet days they shared…

(-)

A tear slid down her angelic face, her time was nearly up.

Her light body was slowly fading away,

She wanted to ask him one last question before she left.

"Do you love me? Because I love you…"

D.U.R.I.A.N. This was just a teaser, quite opened-ended. You can fill in Naruto's line depending on what type of person you are. Between this was supposed to be a narrated poem. For some reason I can't update the last thing I've written, DTWL, which was why I put this up. I hope you enjoyed it.

Please read and review…
