"Raven," he said. It's been ten years since I've heard his voice, his calm voice. Ten years ago I fell in love with an immortal elf, while I was just a plain mortal, an elf prince to be exact. The Prince Legolas, "it's been awhile."

"Yes, it has," I whispered. I was sitting on my knees cleaning the floor of the Water Dragon.

"Are you here because of a bet?" he asked he smirked at me and I splashed his boot.

"Raven!" the owner yelled at me, "Be kinder to these gentlemen." He slapped my face, "Kind sir, forgive her she is a useless child."

"I'm not a child," I mumbled and he kicked my side, "OW!"

"It's okay no harm done," Legolas laughed, "We're old friends."

The Fellow Ship of the Ring finished their meal with many laughs and glances my way. The Hobbits ate both there dinner and supper. Man, do they eat a lot. I finished the floors only to be shoved down into the bucket of the filthy water.

"Raven, are you okay," Legolas asked he helped me up and grabbed the man who shoved me into the bucket, "Apologize now." He ordered.

"Why she's nothing but a slave girl." He sneered as he noticed my dress was torn around chest.

"Do you know who you are talking to?" Legolas asked the man, "She is, wait, was only here to get information for the King of Gondor!"

"Please, Legolas, don't," I pleaded, but I knew he wouldn't listen to me.

"Please, ma'am," the man said, "forgive me."

"Accepted," I walked out of the tavern with the elf fallowing me.

I kept walking till I found an ally where I turned and he fallowed as well. I kept walking and found a man that looked like a Hobbit; one that I thought was a member of the Fellowship.

"You there," I called to him.

"Yes," he turned and I saw that he wasn't who I thought he wasn't. He jumped me and started dragging me to a rundown house, "Lord Sauron will be pleased that I have a princess as his slave." He chuckled at that, "Wonder what he'll do to you."

I saw Legolas run towards me only to be stopped by at least ten orcs. They attacked him and he started yelling out to the Fellowship. Hearing their friend cry for help, they ran and stared to fight the orcs. Gandalf saw that I was being dragged away and sent one of his magic fire balls towards the man who was pulling my hair and dragging me. He screamed in pain when it hit him but continued to pull me away. After two more strikes with the flames he finally fell. Legolas ran towards me and wrapped me in his embrace. My dress was torn, my hair a mess, and both my mind and body weak.

"He's alive," I whispered.

"Who is?" Gandalf the Gray put his hand on my forehead.

"Sauron." I said as blackness came to be the only thing I saw and my body went limp.
