: this is in response from the review from nisuna yasha. thanks for the
idea! I'm quite happy with how it turned out though...although I personally
feel that those two (Inu and Kag) need to end up with each other...hehe.
needless to say, I do not own any characters from Inuyasha, but I will keep
dreaming... :
Tears of the Heart
By: fukaimori-inu
I'm caught between my heart and my mind;
I'm scared of what I'm about to find.
Betrayed before, why not again?
Despite everything that has been said.
You say you don't fear me, the monster inside;
Through the past years you've stayed by my side.
You're giving me reason to keep living on.
And I hate the idea of you being gone;
But I cannot tell you this right away,
Although I know I am the cause of your dismay.
If only my past was different you see,
I could be more open when it is just you and me.
Instead I have this shadow hanging overhead,
Following me, reminding me, of things I have said.
Enclosing my heart with a thick black quilt,
The past enveloping me in guilt.
Maybe one day I will be able to let that go;
Move on from my past and the steady blood flow.
Until then, I'm sorry I cannot heal your heart,
Or dry the tears that flow in the dark.
