Miku looked up surprised by the voices calling her name from the classroom door. She'd been so involved in practicing her lyrics for singing club that she hadn't noticed the bell go off and signal the end of the day. She smiled at the impatient group, waving happily as she packed her bag with care.
"Come on, we're gonna be late~!" Teto jumped up and down, grabbing the arm of the blonde next to her. "Even Neru's gonna be there today~!" She pulled Neru into more into view, promptly receiving a smack to the head and a grumble from the blonde who then went back to texting. A pink haired girl, Luka, stood by them both smiling shyly. She was new in the school, already a member of the singing club and their little group of friends. Yeah she was smart, but she wasn't a geek so it was fine.
"Be patient Teto-chan, I'm almost done~." The tealette giggled to herself, grabbing her bag and pushing past the one boy left in the classroom to get to her friends. She didn't look back to see if he was fine, she hadn't even noticed him. Instead the group left through the corridors, their minds set on singing.
Len fell to the floor with a muted thump, his books making the most noise as the fell in different directions. Looking up, he noticed the girl who'd pushed him had disappeared. They always did that to him, as if they hadn't even seen him. It was like he was invisible to most of the people in school, except those who bullied him anyway. Shaking his head he started to pick up the books one by one, pushing his glasses up slightly. He didn't fit in here; no one wanted to hang around with him. Well almost no one, he smiled slightly when he saw a familiar hand helping pick up his books.
"I was getting worried, you weren't at the bus stop with me." The blonde girl smiled, a white ribbon flopping down onto her face as she bent down. "Try to keep out of their way, they don't care who they push trust me." Rin handed the books to Len, smoothing down her skirt as she stood up. "That's what I do anyway."
"Maybe." Len smiled slightly, walking with her out of the school building. Rin was the only one at school who ever hung around with him, but she was pretty enough to be with the popular crowd. Len could see that and it made him happier slightly knowing she'd chosen to hang with him.
After the 30-minute bus ride home, Len got off the bus with Rin. He always got off three stops to early for himself. Rin lived literally next to this stop and he knew from experience that if he stayed on the bus he'd end up getting off more bruised than he'd got on with. Rin waved to him happily, skipping into her house. He smiled slightly, looking behind him before heading off home himself. If he hurried he could beat his brother home and save himself another run in with the gang.
