A/N: So I decided to write something new! I hope you like this!

Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon (sadly)

Now onto the story!

She was really something else.

Graceful, clumsy. Sweet, yet tough, almost like a jawbreaker. So different from those many years ago when they had first met.

Long blonde hair, now cut shorter from her own hands. Slender, long fingers, that carefully held her Pokemon tenderly.

And her eyes.

Sapphire blue, the color of the ocean in broad daylight. How they shimmered when she was excited, how they danced when she was amused. Yet how they darkened when she was disappointed, and how they almost flared with a red light when she was angry.

He had never met anyone like her.

Oh, he had traveled for ages, meeting all kinds of friends, and enemies. They were all amazing in their own ways, really.

But only one girl had made him feel this way. She was the only one who made his heart leap, his face flush. The only one who made him obsessively think about her, every night, since the moment they had given each other gifts, many weeks ago.

Why was she so different?

He was really something unique.

Childish, mature. Gentle, yet confident, almost like Xerneas. He was the same as before. She couldn't just forget the one who had given her such hope.

Messy black hair, hidden under his cap. Strong brown eyes that held your gaze, made you stop and wonder.

And his smile.

Completely innocent, sweet, kind. How it all depended on who he was smiling at. Sometimes small, sometimes big. And when it was directed at her? How it made her heart melt into a puddle. Yet how it could disappear just as fast, only if someone or something was in trouble.

She had always longed for him.

Oh, she knew many people, all of them nice and kind. Yet none of them were as kind and sweet as him.

He was the only person she had ever fallen for. He was the one who made her face light up, her cheeks redden. He was now one of the only reasons why she never gave up, almost why she got up every day, since the moment she met him.

Why was he so special?

They were perfect.

Strong. Beautiful. One of the most powerful couples since...almost forever. They had the perfect chemistry, never fighting, always together.

One was childishly handsome. The other, kind and beautiful.

And they really did love each other.

That's what made her stop. She wanted to stop this. But she was alone in her pursuits. All of their friends would have turned their backs on her, if she dared try to break them. So she didn't. Yet...

She fell for him anyways.

It hurt, a lot. Every time they touched, she felt a pang in her heart. Every time they smiled together, she felt disappointed. Every time the girl swung her blonde tresses, she would self consciously touch her own spiky orange hair. Whenever he gazed lovingly at her, she would wish they were directed at herself.

But she would keep trying. She could wait.

She will wait.

To a normal passersby, they were sweet, adorable.

Young love, they would whisper.

Who could blame them? After all, how many couples would stay together forever? Not many, presumably. So most passersby simply smiled fondly, pitying them for when the day came and they broke up.

But they were different. They were just a little less demanding, a little more kind to each other. A little less of this, a little more of that. Their chemistry was...different.

Who would have thought that they would be so perfect?

They really were something else. Something better.

A/N: That's it! I know, short right. But, as quoting Imagine Dragons, "there's nothing left to say now."
