The young green girls' eyes widened as she was carried away by the woman she would call "Mother". She waved goodbye to her Aunt and Uncle, who were both just happy they didn't have another plate to fill. The girl turned her head to face her Mother, smiling gleefully. "Hello Mama!" She said cheerfully. The woman scowled, her beautiful and friendly demeanor fading. "Don't call me that." she growled. The toddler looked down, a hurt expression on her face. "But-" The woman slapped her arm. "Stop pouting!" she said. The girl suddenly stopped slouching and tried not to show her fear.

~Eleven Years Later~

"Mimi, get down here!" The witch screamed. Mimi hurried down stairs, grabbing her apron and tying it around her waste. "Yes master?" She said quickly. The witch turned around, her usual scowl still playing on her face. "Try this." She shoved a small bottle full of purple liquid towards the girl's face. Fear played on her face as she took the bottle from the woman's hands and looked at it. "What is it?" She asked. "Don't ask any questions. Just drink it." The woman said harshly. Mimi nodded and drank it, holding her nose in the process. She gulped it all down, sticking her tongue out in disgust. The woman grabbed it from her hand and shoved her upstairs. "Go in your room." She said. Mimi nodded and walked in her room. The witch locked her door, while an unknowing Mimi sat down on her bed.

She grabbed a book and started reading it for the hundredth time, a small frown growing on her face. She suddenly realized her vision was fuzzy. She looked at her hands, only to realize that they looked limp and gray. She passed out, the book in her hand falling out and thumping on the floor. The last thing she saw was the spider web in the corner of her room.

The witch walked up the stairs to her "daughter's" room. It had been an hour, so the transformation had probably already taken place. She walked up to the door, putting the key in and turning until she heard the lock click. She walked in, smirking as she saw the young girl in the corner of her room, mumbling to herself. "Oh Mimi? It's me, mother." She said. The girl-turned-creature turned around, her eyes completly black and large legs growing out of her back. The girl hissed at the woman as she walked up to her. The witch heard her mumbles louder now. "Mi-mi-mi-mi-mi. Mi-mi-mi." The girl mumbled. Her sharp teeth showed as she once again hissed. The witch's eyes widened as she slowly backed away. This wasn't supposed to happen at all. She gasped as one of Mimi's legs stabbed through her stomach. She grew limp and slumped down, and Mimi drew her leg out, and she too fell down.

When she came to, she woke up to see her mother slumped against the wall, blood slipping out of a small hole that went all the way through her. She gasped and jumped up, realizing what she had done. She was free. No more pain. No more having to cry every night in fear because of the screams from downstairs. Freedom tasted good.

And so did Revenge.
