Evelyn. That's all she remembered at the moment. That name. Evelyn. She felt like she should know more than that but whenever she would reach for the past all she would feel is an all-consuming darkness and an unspeakable fear. She shuddered and went back to the one thing she did know. Evelyn. Even as the name rolled through her head something new became truth to her. She was alive. Inhale. Exhale.
