"As I was saying," Dumbledoor said, "we are to have the honor of hosting a very exciting event over the coming months, an event that has not been held for over a century. It is my very great pleasure to inform you that the Tridemensional Tournament will be taking place at Hogwarts this year."
The students cheered, and Harry turned to Ron.
"What's the Tridemensional Tournament?"
"Three schools come together from different dimensions for a competition." Hermione answered. "There are twenty-four competitors, eight chosen from each school, in different ways."
"And they fight to the DEATH!" Ron said.
"They do not!" Shouted Hermione.
The cheering had subsided, and Dumbledoor continued his explanation.
The twenty-four tributes stood together on Ceasar Flickerman's stage, just finishing their interviews. Panem shocked at Peeta's confession of love for Katniss.
Ceasar takes the stage and faces the tributes. "You will all be travelling to a different dimension," he tells the teens, "Only eight of you will be chosen from there, and the rest of you will stay to watch until you are to be sent back home to your families. You will be facing four challenges, and being ranked on those."
The tributes were silent, accepting their possible fate without so much as a murmur.
Carlisle stood next to Esme, Billy, and Harry, in front of a group of teenage werewolves and vampires. And Bella.
"The last one standing wins the tournament. We'll be travelling through the faery paths," Carlisle told the gathered group, " to get to a school called Hogwarts."
The group all nodded, and some angry glances were thrown from the pack to the vampires, and from the vampires to the pack.
"We'll be leaving tomorrow morning. Make sure you're all ready to go by 7:00 AM."
And soon, the games will begin!
